I am not around for the Agm. My questions would be;
The Mem
i)Have the BOD thought abt offsetting some of the loan against naming rights for the Mem? I don't know what other teams make but £250k for 2.5 years seems good to me.
ii)can we get grants for solar panels? This would save costs and give the club good publicity.
iii) are we actively looking to hire out the pitch for end of season use (corporate 5 a sides etc)- we could fit four 5 a side pitches marked out
iv) will the club have car boot sales during the summer?
v) any plans of live music or firework evenings (Madness gig at cricket, old pillar box club) could attract new fans
vi) home pre season game v local non league teams (Bath, WSM, Gloucester etc) more bar sales? Maybe one a season on a rota basis
vii) any more rugby games?
viii) why does the website not advertise non Rovers use of the stadium? The rugby league World cup games & Gloucester games were badly advertised if at all
New supporters
i) City cannot give 2500 free tickets away. we can. How much does it actually cost the club? If stewards cost minimum wage, how many do we need per 1000? If they were on £7 per hour, 10 stewards for 5 hours that's only £350, surely we would cover that through food, programme, 50/50 sales, plus if a kid gets hooked, potential season ticket and shirt sales. the board MUST agree to do something for kids
ii)kick racism out of football. When is it? How many tickets are the club offering?
iii) suggestion for kids season tickets next season (cost per game)- under 5 £1, age 5-11 £2 11-15 £5 16-18 £7 (£3 added to pay on the day cost)- this would mean more parents attending and more potential prog, food and merchandise sales.
Team
I) we can't win headers at corners, why not play short and shoot (Brown v Barnet etc)
ii) can we do fundraising for a CF, instead of share scheme?
iii) if we were mid table with little chance of going up or down, would we actively offer players to go on loan to national league clubs (Eastleigh, FGR, Cheltenham, Grimsby etc before the end of loan window to save wages?
Share offer
Why not offer individual share to anyone who paid into the share scheme for 3 years
say £20 per share, this could raise a fair bit (donation)
