Never went and I never needed to, same back four letting in goals again, same strike force scoring nowt. Eastleigh, Constable and Midson are scoring and beating teams and our main striker is back in his wheel chair. Yeah he's tweeted it was only his shin, it will be his toe next. The club is a joke, is obvious DC can't sign players and the players he wants and if I knew all this I'd never have parted with my season ticket money in May. I read the Mount Everest climber was rude to fans last night, it sums up the club and he'll want sponsorship soon when he sails around the world in his dingy. Darryl Eales tried to buy into Rovers, he invested in Oxford instead and the feel good factor is massive up here. He might get it all wrong but I doubt he will take them into the Conference and now Appleton has bought in a first class coach. There is no feel good factor at Bristol Rovers, well there is for some who believe the guff from last night. I look forward to seeing Barry on the till in the club shop, that won't sign us a striker. We've signed a load of inexperienced kids and rejects, I even think Mansell and Monkhouse have moved for a guarantied 24 months pay and now Mansell is vying for Brunt's wheelchair. "Yeovil tonight won't be fielding a full strength side against non league Bristol Rovers............" I support what's on the pitch, not the UWE stadium and this board can't manage a football club. Only Geoff Dunford can now save us, it's time he signed another Lambert ?

Hello roadman, glad you found us.
Sadly, good points. I'm just hoping the signing of a creative midfielder may help our chances.

Darryl Eales fronts up some serious investors. I wonder why he was turned away? You tell me, he definitely contacted us. All this club wants is an IT Director, Ken shouting at fans and Barry in the club shop. When I heard about Ward letting the players get smashed after the Hartlepool defeat, Parkes stripped of his captaincy because of his off the field lifestyle I thought back to Pipe and when I saw Coles and Lines drinking Corona lager at Notts County. 6 years on from Pipe gate this club still can't run a club with a code of conduct but as long as our directors get to walk greats like Andy Rammell around the pitch we will be ok!!!!!! As fans we can't do anymore, we all support the side, our directors are the custodians of this club and look at us, it's a disgrace. When FGR beat us on TV we finally may have some fans who say enough is enough but then some will say "without our board we wouldn't have a club"

Roadman - you may well be right with your prediction of it will get worse, but it wasn't the same back four or the same forwards as last season.
You also can't have expected us to win tonight surely?
It's bloody shameful that we have sunk as low as this though! The harsh reality has hit home and there is not a lot we can do about it! Still a lot of anger about - we need to win our first three home games!!!!

Most clubs which bounce back into the league do so after hitting rock bottom. We havent hit that yet and next season and a few after will be a struggle with a small budget trying along with another 10 ex league clubs to achieve a place back into the league.
Get used to the conference we re going to be here for some time yet.

You lost me at "I never went tonight" If that's the case it's a bit off to start a thread on the back of that game.

Still a lot of anger about - we need to win our first three home games!!!! That was our first team out tonight in many ways bar a couple of changes and we can't score against a team with trialists in it! I have just received a personal message from one of the most respected posters ever on these forums about how Ken Masters spoke to him last night. I can tell you if that little weasel ever spoke to me like that I would flatten him. He's meant to be one of us, we put him on that board and we should start up a petition next time he goes for election to out him off the board. I am appalled that a gentleman who many of us know was treated like this last night, I am disgusted. Only Bristol Rovers would let a man like Ken Masters chair a meeting of such importance like this, Bristol City, Yeovil, Bath City and WSM must all laugh at us. Last night showed our professionalism, god we had a bloke who used to work for Sky Sports there?! We've got a communications department, KEN!! I said to my Father tonight, I can't listen to Keith Brookman this season joking at 3-0 that we can still get back into the game at Braintree, I hope BBC Bristol this season does it job properly and gives us a neutral commentator.

Darryl Eales fronts up some serious investors. I wonder why he was turned away? He may have looked at the UWE Stadium plans and projections and asked questions like : Who are the customers for these facilities going to be ? What is going to attract them to these facilities as opposed to competitive facilities nearby ? How much will they spend and what net return on investment will be achieved. People don't realise that UWE already have very modern exhibition and conference facilities on their campus and a very modern gym and centre for sport as well. www1.uwe.ac.uk/aboutus/departmentsandservices/professionalservices/centreforsport.aspx www1.uwe.ac.uk/whyuwe/fantasticfacilities/eccconferencecentre. I'm very concerned that there has been a lack of forethought and no proper market research has been done in planning the proposed facilities at the UWE Stadium. An investor like Darryl Eales won't be impressed by bluster and a "build it and they will come" mentality.

Only two weeks and two days till we kick off. Expecting some new faces in this week as it looks like smith is as good as gone. We need width and a playmaker in CM. And that's before we replace Smith.

I have this urge to reply to comments made to me, that is my business. I get my stimulation from going to support my team, not from a can. It also helps form a more qualified and just opinion and everyone is entitled to one.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk you know what mate. I don't care. I don't care if they are pig sh** players with not a shred of footballing nouse. As long as they care. As long as they give everything when they pull on the quarters. Its been lacking for so long its all I want to see. I am very much of the opinion that we have zero chance of getting out of this league this season so that is all I want to see. No more journeymen. No more water takers spend most of their time on the physio bench only turning up to rehab when they want and never on a Monday morning cluster f**ks. Just effort and pride.

He actually got turned away but then, at a later date, they tried to get him back but he was having none of it. We also had interest before relegation and they now own a L2 club. There is no point is listening to the BS about no takers when it's just not true. There are three board members who just won't let go because they have nothing else to hold onto. It's UWE or bust. It could be UWE AND bust.
