Next person to use the term "clueless" should be excecuted.
This word should be sent, along with "muppet" to the lock stock and two smoking barrels memory hole of annoying terms.
That is all

t bone is allowed his opinion so i dont think its fair to say hes trolling[whatever that is?],,nobody ever scored more goals in the top division of the football league than jimmy greaves but you can bet some didnt like him,,its just the way it is with us humans Trolling Trolling is trying to get a rise out of someone. Forcing them to respond to you, either through wise-crackery, posting incorrect information, asking blatantly stupid questions, or other foolishness. However, trolling statements are never true or are ever meant to be construed as such. Nearly all trolled statements are meant to be funny to some people, so it does have some social/entertainment value. "Trolling" isn't simply "harmful statements". Intentionally insulting/libelous statements are "flaming". Just as bad as trolling is "Feeding the Trolls". This is when people say stuff that they know will prompt someone to respond with a trolled reply and/or replying to comments that are blatantly from a troll. This is especially true when a troll first makes his comment/reply, and (usually many) people respond, either trying to correct the troll, or express anger at the statement. At that point, the trolling was successful and has been fed. When encouraged by success and feeding, trolls often return. Trolling, as it relates to internet, is the deliberate act, (by a Troll), of making random unsolicited and/or controversial comments on various internet forums with the intent to provoke an emotional knee jerk reaction from unsuspecting readers to engage in a fight or argument. Trolling on-line forums as described above is actually analogous to the fishing technique of “trolling”, where colorful baits and lures are pulled behind a slow moving boat, often with multiple fishing lines, covering a large bodies of water, such as a large lake or the ocean. The trolling lures attract unsuspecting fish, intriguing them with the way they move through the water, thus enticing these foolish fish to “take the bait”. Not unlike unsuspecting internet victims, once hooked, the fish are reeled in for the catch before they realize they have been duped by the Troll/Fisherman

If Easter got his lazy Fat arse a bit further up the pitch and gave Matty "Messi" Taylor a helping hand then maybe we may score a few more

No, I'm sorry, this is completely wrong. There is nothing that is made worse by a reasonable reply. If someone thinks he has won something because someone replies to his trolling, then he is wrong. In real life, if someone dresses up like an idiot and goes out, he doesn't win something for everyone who looks at him funny. In real life, if you say something completely stupid, then you don't win something because someone calls you out on that. Just because it's on the internet that doesn't change. If someone says something stupid coz they're on the internet, they don't win something by having that stupidity pointed out. All this, 'ha, he got a bite!' and 'don't feed the trolls!' is bullshit. The correct statements are 'Don't go fishing' and 'Don't troll.' Any train of thought that results in someone saying that it is wrong to post a reasonable reply must be flawed somewhere along the line. If anything the 'ha, he got a bite' crap is what feeds the trolls, in any case. Don't blame reasonable people for others' unreasonable posts.

No amount of reasonable replies will enlighten or dissuade someone trolling was my point.
The people replying may well be in the right, but thats never the intentions of the troll. He doesn't care what you think, it's all just about getting a reaction.
By replying you are giving some credence to the trolls initial post. I don't care either way, it's up to people here if they feel it's best ignored or best to reply in a civil way.
The sad thing is tBone has become a one trick parody of himself to the point where anything else he may have to offer is in danger of becoming irrelevant and OPs like this one really let him down.

But as you're never going to coordinate everyone into not replying, you're effectively blaming the victims. The whole notion of trolling is a problem for the troll. It's their fault and it's an issue with them. Replies don't give credence or credibility to a post. Telling someone they're wrong, doesn't make them righter. That whole notion is self-evidently flawed. If they're only doing it to get a reaction, then they will get a reaction. You can't really stop that. But, as in my previous analogy, of someone trying to look stupid, if they want to look stupid, people will think they look stupid. It doesn't make them look less stupid if more people look at them. They might want people to look at them, but they're still stupid.

Be interesting to know what the minutes per goal ratio was for all of our strikers this year. Just for some factual input to the debate...
