He's certainly scoring at a similar rate to Vardy - 7 league goals in last 6 games !! But it is also his all-round game that impresses.

Yeah he chased down a lot of so called " lost causes" and kept possession from them and he seems to have the drive that Easter and Harrison lack. Who was the last player who we had on loan and ended up signing them full time, can't think of any. After last nights performance, "Gaffer" would be high on my list for January window Agreed. Still doesn't look fully fit either (not played much recently) - so should only get better too. Might take a bit of money to take him from Cambridge though?

Bit daft praising him up on sky it's like putting him in shop window, think we need to offload Easter and Harrison so can afford to keep gaff here and get tubbs for competition for places

Will put a lot of ideas in other clubs head saying he could be the next vardy,a lot of clubs have got the money to risk say 500k in the hope he does become that and tight arse nick will snap anyone's hand off for that money And like always it will never get invested back in the team, let's see how much he does think of the club and fans if a offer comes in

I would be surprised if MT didn't sign an extension. After all, it's DC that has given him the chance. A bit of loyalty from this current batch of players wouldn't surprise me at all.

A good handful stayed when we went to the Conference didn't they? Got to be something about DC that they like, admire. Good stuff.

Hopefully this, it's the same thing I was thinking, it's got to be a great place to go into work every day at the moment, there seems to be a real togetherness and spirit around the whole squad, and we are a club on the up, (on the pitch at least) and I think the players trust and like playing for DC.

What dc should of said is: he's been lucky in the last few weeks the wind has helped him out he normally can't hit a barn door but we still love him,in the changing rm he's a pain in the arse too always messing about giving all my players dead legs with his massive cock but we love him and he's here until he retires like me

It was DC who mentioned Matty T & Vardy in the same sentence during a sky sports interview. He also praised The Beard and J Clarke for making the step-up from non-league. The theme of his interview was there are plenty of non-league players who can make the grade at professional level but clubs don't take a chance on them.

Would we rather keep him for next season in League 1, or take £500k from some Championship outfit so we can recruit a few decent players?

I'd always rather keep a player. Harder to reinvest money.
That said I haven't seen our accounts.
