Hi I see more and more GAS number plates around Bristol. I have ****** and My Son Has ******* Do any of You have GAS plates ? I drift between liking and disliking the idea. I've looked into them, been tempted then thought no! Wouldn't be happy if my car was damaged because of the plates!

I'd increase people with personalised numbers plates tax to 80%. The usually drive over priced German cars and are morons. Seems fair.

Don't really see the problem really, it's nice to have a personalised number plate and the main thing in my life is GAS - so natural decision to get one!

I have thought about one for years and kept putting it off, took the plunge and put one on my reasonably priced British car this month. Tried to get BR15 ROV but not available so went for the next best

I have one did have badges on as well but got pulled in by police in West Wales, he did not book me but got new plates without badges. I live in south Wales but would not fancy driving to trashton or town!

Edited this soddin thread as personal details should not be given out as it could end in acrimony - That is all I dunno. The number plates are pretty visible when they're on the road for everyone to see..

In the 70's I lived in Stourbridge and there were 2 cars that stood out one was ALB 10 N which was on a roller an we think belonged to the chairman, the other was on a red E Type SEX 1 E, which I now think has been withdrawn.
Interestingly I preferred the 70's because we weren't politically correct
