I'm not a fan of Puddy, he did OK today until he went off, only one dodgy kick out (that was fortunately headed on!), but he didnt actually have to do much. Mildy made a great save but had one dodgy punch, though his distribution was noticeably not as good as Puddy's.
So my question is, if DC doesnt rate Mildy, dont we need to just bite the bullet & get a proper permanant keeper on board?

Clarke has a love in with Puddy. And clearly does not want to pick Mildenhall. It will be interesting to see who plays in the next match, because it is blatantly obvious the manager does not want to pick him. This will hurt Clarke.

How do you know he doesn't rate him? He praised the attitude of the ommited players today.

Heard today that one more start for Mildenhall triggers an extension. Not sure if true.

surely puddy limped off today in his first game back from a long lay off so there must be a question mark against him.?

Not even being funny, it's a serious question.

Heard today that one more start for Mildenhall triggers an extension. Not sure if true. DC confirmed at the S/C AGM, that there are no more extensions of contracts possible this season. When they run out they run out.

I think DC has no choice but to play mildenhall now even if Puddy recovers he's clearly not quite ready fitness wise. Apart from the fact I be;ieve Mildy is way past it I find it curious why DC has done almost all he could not to play him

Whichever way you look at the goalkeeping situation it is a mystery why DC hasn't/didn't signed a permanent/long term loan keeper back in the summer or since. Puddy was injured and Mildenhall will never be totally fit again. Another example of the attitude and commitment DC and his team have from the players. Sleeves rolled up and get on with the job. Some have mentioned this situation must effect the defence especially; not at all if you look at the league table.

Mildy is a great leader on the pitch... But unfortunately he's just not good enough anymore and I'm a massive fan of his. If puffy is not fit (and I don't rate him) then Mildy has to start.
It's quite simple. We have to get a keeper in. We need a solution until the end of the season not three or four one month loan deals.

Hopefully we hear the end of Sainsbury's either way pretty soon so DC can start to have a little financial backing that his hard work and talents deserve.

Perhaps it's because he played in goal through both Clarkes promotions at Salisbury and half the time in our promotion last season so he clearly knows him and trusts him. To be fair other than being fouled against Dover and dropping the ball, what's he done that's been so bad ?
