Been recalled by Millwall, not a surprise but did think he had potential. Paris Cowan-Hall has today been recalled by his parent club, Millwall. Thus cutting short the loan spell with Rovers that commenced on 23rd November and was in the squad that travelled to Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday. Paris appeared in three games for Rovers, one of which was from the bench and manager Darrell Clarke wished the youngster well on his return to the League One side. “I would like to thank Paris for his efforts whilst he has been with,” the manager said this morning, “and wish him every success in the future.” Read more at www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/cowan-hall-returns-to-millwall-2862886.aspx#LSFqPIrwhz0t6L08.99

Showed glimpses of potential but ultimately turned out to be nothing special, hopefully a new keeper is next on Darrels transfer agenda

People are being a bit harsh, he hardly played for us! Looked bright on his debut but was poor in the last home game. Don't doubt he is a decent player at this level though.

Real shame, I'm good friends with Paris. We saw nowhere near the best of him. He came here on the pretence he would get games. He turned down offers from other league 2 clubs to come. 3-5-2 doesn't suit him and when he did play, he wasnt at his best due lack of match fitness.
Overall probably the right decision for both parties.

To be fair to DC he gave him a chance to impress against lowly York but he failed to take that chance.

That of course has to be his priority. However from Paris's point of view had we constantly used 4-4-2 then he would of played more. Its one of those that hasnt worked out.

He came off the bench towards the end of a home game and looked good as well, think it was the game before the shocker he had funnily enough, looked good for half and average for half, seen much worse, won't miss him but won't slag him either

I'm sure DC would have loved him to have played well enough for him to want to pick the guy.

Can hardly either criticise him or assess him based on very little game time. Trouble is that we will soon have a reputation for getting players on loan and not playing them. It cannot be a coincidence that wingers with ability cannot seem to bring out their best for us and constant changing from 4-4-2 to 3-5-2 is not going to help them. Players need a run of games particularly wingers and just aren't going to get that playing for us. The results DC is getting backs his decision to keep changing but will do our reputation in the Loan Market with other clubs no good whatsoever. Personally I would prefer to sign our own players and not rely on the loan market other than in emergency.

We signed Mantano but he clearly hasn't been good enough but loanees LDV & Dawson were, just because it hasn't worked out for Paris doesn't mean to say DC's getting it wrong, if Paris had been as good as LDV or Dawson DC may well have played 4-4-2 more often?
