What was he shouting to the bench for in the second half? During one of the short interruptions he charged over and was shouting, but I missed what he said. "Save that bastard"

It's how you handle adversity, not how it affects you. The main thing is never quit, never quit, never quit! William J Clinton. Sounds like he's not going to give up the No 1 shirt without a fight! Brilliant save today at 1-1 to help us win the match to top a good performance It was a save you would expect a keeper to make and he had a few other routine saves. Also took a lot of crosses as Orient chose to put loads of high crosses in. I would call it a competent and assured performance but nothing else.

Yes a competent job...knowing his manager doesn't want him, knowing that no matter what he did yesterday he will be replaced by another loan signing no better than him like the last two, probably knowing some fans don't want him and knowing that he desperately wants his place back against all the odds. Oh and do it all in front of one of the biggest home crowds we will get all season and taking part responsibility to keep the teams momentum going. Not much pressure then, easy job this football lark. Just a competent performance no more no less. All considered, that was a very professional display. I applaud the guy and hope he proves all his doubters wrong, including his manager

I believe that if we hadn't known about his history this game would have been passed off as a good all round display.. As it is, every little thing gets over analysed

I would call it a competent and assured performance but nothing else. But at this level, that's gold.

I have a feeling Mildy has a contract extension based on number of performances.
He is on dead good money I reckon.
I think DC rates him but as his years advance, he's ok but not good value compared to what that could buy.
this is guesswork. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Your wrong as surely no player would have two contract extension clauses, not even we're that daft with players contracts? Plus as the other posters suggests DC's confirmed none of the players have such clauses (unless he meant to say no player will trigger such a clause this season!!). Having said that having played two games this week and only conceded one unstoppable goal you do wonder what DC saw in Nicholls over Mildenhall.

Less £££s Surely we would have to pay Nicholls wages as well as Mildenhall's so what £'s were we saving?? I can't see Mildenhall leaving until the summer when his contract ends, even if DC would like him to move on in January.

I'm sure someone said that if he plays 30 games in a season he gets an extension, & presumably that could be rolling on, though 30 games is a big old number!!
