It's how you handle adversity, not how it affects you. The main thing is never quit, never quit, never quit!
William J Clinton.
Sounds like he's not going to give up the No 1 shirt without a fight!
Brilliant save today at 1-1 to help us win the match to top a good performance

Had a good game today, and in all fairness he never put a foot wrong. He came out about 17 and a half yards to one cross late in the game, and didn't get anywhere near the ball. Bad error, imo, and I say that as a Mildy fan.

Got to admit, I thought Mildy was past it, but today he didn't put a foot wrong! Made a great save in the second half and commanded his box throughout. His distribution was a lot quicker/better today too.

No real saves of note to make today but nothing he could have done about the goal. Took some crosses well, others not so well. Kicking is woeful and never on target but looked to throw the ball out when he could today.
So a mixed bag from me today, overall he did well and I have so much respect for the bloke for coming back in the manner he has done. You can tell how much it meant to him too. Good work steve.
I wouldn't mind another keeper coming in if it was permanent in jan though as I feel there is better out there.

Bad error, imo, and I say that as a Mildy fan. Was this the one he punched? I can't remember another similar. The punched cross was a risk but he partially cleared it and it would have been a hell of an effort for their player to score when we had two on the line. What impressed me about Mildenhall today was his conscious effort to improve his distribution. I'm still not convinced he's the answer long term but he did well today, top marks to him.

Didn't get back to his line quickly afterwards and chaos ensued but orient never punished us. Phew! Was his only error though so no harm done and a good overall performance. Distribution was ok today too I thought

Was going to come on here and say his distribution was better and quicker then before. Hes always been a quality shot stopper and haven't seen a better keeper at coming for crosses. Just part of the old Ward guard and Puddy is DCs keeper. He wants to fight for his spot and deserves it.

His shot stopping has always been good but he seemed to be plagued with self doubt as to when to come off his line. There were 2 incidents on Saturday when minor problems occurred but today was better and he commanded his area well. I believe that if we persevere with him then he will come through

It's great that Mildy stll really wants to succeed. After some of the things DC suggested about his future, lesser players would have given up and sat on their pay packets.
Those who suggested he was washed up might want to reconsider. How they came to that conclusion in the first place I don't know, since he hadn't been playing. Did they watch him in training regularly?

It's how you handle adversity, not how it affects you. The main thing is Mildy's only playing cos Puddy got injured.

What was he shouting to the bench for in the second half? During one of the short interruptions he charged over and was shouting, but I missed what he said.
