2 good signings secured. Do people think there will be anymore to come realistically?

Just a GK if we do not lose any players.

Would love a GK and winger, but expecting just a GK.

We need GK either as cover or first choice. At least some form of experienced competition for Mildy. Left back cover. That will do us. Assuming we keep everyone.

Dc said he wanted three, if I remember rightly. Probably a GK I would think.

If I was DC I'd be looking to move out a midfielder or two, as do we really need SS, LM, OC, LL, CL, CM & JG, plus DL can play RW/RWB? Which would then free up wages to bring in 1 or 2 more players

I'm fairly satisfied with the squad as it is tbh.

DC said before this signing we have 18 senior players and he wants 20 so I expect us to sign 1 more player, which you'd think would be a goalkeeper, since Puddy isn't being counted

I would like to hope we can bring in 2 more. I would be surprised if DC stuck with Mildy as he clearly isn't comfortable with him.

We might need 5 across the middle and a couple of injuries can make us thin overnight.

Someone I trust DM'd me on twitter last season to say DC felt SM had too much influence on the dressing room. Not entirely sure what that means but its clear he doesn't want him here. Would like a new GK and creative midfielder for sure. Not confident in any of our wide men but we often play wing backs so maybe not needed.
Very happy with todays signing although just hope he stays fit

I think next targets will be Andre Gray, Andre Previn, Zach Clough, Charlie Clough, Peter Crouch, Jane Couch, Dwight Gayle & Huge Gale.

Now we need a striker who doesn't clash with our away kit.

Seems odd that he'd want an influential member of a good group of players to leave because he's an influential member of the group. Ability or style of distribution maybe, but I don't buy 'influence on the dressing room' as a reason for wanting rid. Assuming Lawrence isn't employed as a winger I think he's DC's answer to that. Tonnes of articles from his time at Mansfield, Stoke, Sunderland and Shrewsbury describe him possessing creativity, so I assume we'll see that over the next 4 months.

The squad seems unbalanced to me with too many similar midfield players.

Unless someone leaves I can't see any more additions and not sure we need any anyway.
mgrs need to make tough decisions and having 3 GK's on the wagebill is enough. Sometimes you have to deal with what you've got.
DC has shown in both of his seasons he likes to hold money back for strong signings through the Autumn, Jan window, and even up to the Spring deadline. He's done the first two.
I'd prefer him to keep a little back for a Lines type splash in March if necessary.
Several decent players can't even get on the bench at the moment. I'd suggest that means we're doing ok on numbers, even if it has been helped by no serious injuries all season & no discipline issues. Only 20 games left. No cups. Only 2 midweek fixtures left.

Our next target should be to retain the services of Mr Taylor.
