Thanks for the comments, please don't let your manager go to the other team in Bristol, we want them to struggle
Anyway don't get upset when "The Beard" destroys your star player !

Appleton is going no where it's just the bookies hyping it up he has a job to finish here. well no 1 has kept roofe quiet yet and to be honest you should worry more about Sercombe and lundstram to free transfers and they have been exceptional.

Ironically I'll be driving my 5yr old son home whilst the game is in progress almost going straight by the ground. I'll wind down the windows as we go past to hear the dulcet tones of the Gas choir in full voice celebrating our many goals

If he does go then he will have little time to get in fresh faces, which means he will go for what he knows with SL paying highly for Roofe and one or two other Oxford players. It would disrupt Oxford who are currently doing very well. Can't see it myself, though.

...2 good sides playing football the right way... To be honest, we're not really quite there, yet. We play fairly decent mixed football with quite a bit of hoof, and we're not really a good side, yet. It's hard to know whether we're an average side who manage to keep it together and play above our level quite often, or we're actually getting good. Hopefully the latter.

I think it's been a constant progress which started in September 2014 and the balls been rolling along quite nicely ever since. Our budget may be lower than last season but that hasn't stopped progress. UTG.

I fully expect you to be in the playoffs, the best side we've played this season is carlisle they came and attacked and gave us plenty to think about. with the pompey game now off a win for us tomorrow and we will be 7 points clear of them and 8 of you. will be a tight game, this is the best football I've witnessed in a very long time

Away from home we haven't seemed so impressive lately but hopefully Gaffney & Lawrence(if he starts) will make the difference. This could be the game of the season so far, on paper at least. Do you have any injury concerns as we seem to have a fully fit squad?
