Just wondered how many on here went yesterday.Didn't get there until 2 and thought it was a lot quieter than normal. Only to be exspected I suppose. Got myself a new home shirt after deciding despite liking the away,I attend more home games, and it was a few years ago since I bought the last. Saw JTS and paid my tenner for the FFS,and thanks Paul(Greggas) for the coke! And I do mean the drink not the stuff you put up your nose!!

I was there! As always good to see you Pat. I seem to see you everywhere lately you're what i can only decscribe as a "Busy Gashead" , if there's a meeting, event or game - Pat's there! It was really quiet early doors, but a fair few were there later. Although i was quiet myself with The FFS (Billy no-mates), i must say everyone seemed to think it was a good day, plenty of young 'uns with face paint and ice creams and new shirts which was nice. Luckily GregsGas (we are becoming very close, first GasChat marriage could be on the cards Ras!) kept me company cause sometimes we just sat and watched the Tumbleweed roll by Met some really great people and nice to have Mart (Helpline) come over and give us some thoughts. Also, met a very keen young man by the name of Philip who has a littlle project i think some of us will be interested to follow , i'll start a thread when he gets back to me (don't worry it's not gonna cost you anything!) Gotta say, the staff, players etc were all superb. plenty of time for everyone and very open with their conversations. Very chilled out atmosphere with the new lads who all made themselves available and made it fun for a good many supporters both young and old. So from me - Well done Bristol Rovers and Well done Darrell and the boys

I saw some of the photos on Twitter - it looked as though people were having fun! Good to hear that the new players seem to be a down to earth bunch.

It's prob fair to say some of these lads see the move as a rare career opportunity. Clubs with our fan base don't often go non league and indications so far suggest DC is picking his way through the hungry ones
I hope they deliver

My mate Dave was really impressed with the amount of time DC spent talking to supporters. He seemed genuinely interested in what everyone had to say too, apparently.

I had other stuff on unfortunately so couldn't make it. Been every year recently and met JTS last year and is usually a good day out but I volunteered for other stuff without looking at the date first!
Glad that those who went had a good time by the sounds of it.

I thought it was a great day, and much more upbeat than I expected too!
Darrell and the new players all seem like top blokes that I'll want to get behind and support. Raring to go now. Bring on August 9th.
