Come on Lambert - put them out their misery with another cracker - his appearance has certainly woken up the library

Sheeds booing Lambert.
Not sure why, Cardiff are their rivals now.

Would love a Rickie Goal. Run to the Twatyeo with his hands cupping his ears.

Not given much of a chance with just 4 minutes

I would like to think that Pulis bringing on a striker in the 90th minute when they should be protecting a 1-0 lead, and that striker being Rickie Lambert of all people, made a statement about how much he thinks of the 82ers. It must have wound up all the fans and players brilliantly.

The temporary TV gantry is just above the technical area so not strange to hear Pulis's every word. One whistle he gave sent the cat out the living room. The gantry is far too low to give a decent view of proceedings on the far side and offers no bird's eye view at all. A bit like the Mem in that respect. That ruined it as a spectacle for me. City looked what they are; a struggling side. A lot of effort and the odd slick move intertwined with aimless long balls and misstimed passes. I didn't know Wilbraham was playing until the camera picked him up at a set piece well into the game. If their game plan is built around a 36-year-old who is past his sell-by date then they will have the finest stadium in League 1.

Whilst their stadium clearly shits all over ours it looks like it was slapped together on the back of a fag pack.

Did SL forget to pay the leccy bill, not enough light for a televised "spectacle" of football

I thought the stadium looked pretty ordinary as well Whilst it obviously knocks the Mem into a cocked hat, there is no real continuity to it. Each stand will be a different size and design, and will look very awkward.
In the scheme of things, a plan B for us will be OK; their ground looks to be the equivalent of plan Z.
Doesn't really matter when it's full of sewage every other week.

I thought the sight lines for the Camera angles utter rubbish and i could not watch the WBA more than 5 mins

Have to say I was very surprised to find myself thinking how unimpressed I was by it. May have been the lack of atmosphere coming across on TV (or lack of generally!).
I do like what Plymouth have in their new build parts, came together well and just missing the last bit. According to Wiki the new build is approximately two 3,500 seater ends and 6,000 along the side. Sort of thing I would like the Mem to look like if we stay.
Last night did show to me how important the acoustics of a ground are in generating noise, something we need to factor in whatever the future brings.

There was no problem hearing the West Brom fans though in all fairness. Great support for a game they probably couldn't give too much of a toss about.

I was there last night (work outing for £10 a ticket as we are mostly BS3 based) and it wasn't a great match. The place was like a morgue most of the time which didn't help either. I could hear the WBA fans loud and clear from the Dolman and some of their best ones were:
The sh** are going down (villa reference) You're just a shot Bristol Rovers Shall we sing a song for you? Is this a library? And some song about Gareth Mcauley
Loved it when Rickie came on, would have struggled not to cheer if he had scored!
