My opinion of the match.
Overall I think 1-1 all is a fair result. It was even throughout. Both teams were guilty of missing good chances.
I thought the commitment shown by the players was fantastic.
It's slightly annoying that Lawerance wasn't available. I feel he could have been the difference. In the second half when the game opened up (largely due to DC's subs) I feel Lawerance would have made a positive impact for us.
Last week Rovers were accused of being cynical side by (bitter) Oxford Fans. This week I could moan that Plymouth were rather cynical. They committed 3 times the number of fouls and they were frequently 'momentum stoppers.' None of these punished with a card, unlike Parkes in the first half. However, I don't expect teams to turn up at the Memorial stadium and just stand off. There was something between Gaffney and Centre back- more information please? But other than that I felt the match was played in good spirit, by those on the pitch.
Their Manager however.... Once again, we have an Away manager that spends the whole match 'working' the fourth official. I find this so frustrating. Adams was constantly moaning trying to put doubt in the Refs head. I'm not saying DC doesn't complain, but it's usually just the once or twice. Adams was doing his best to get Gaffney in trouble. In my opinion this makes him a cheat.

I didnt actually think it great game today in terms of quality, overall I thought Plymouth edged the first 70 minutes but we looked stronger after the substitutions and ot became more even. Felt we were a little bullied by a strong Plymouth side. Whilst it would have been great to have held on I dont think we can complain with a point!

Thought their midfield was better than ours and we gave them to much space, happy with point though but think the best we can hope for is play offs-must win games like this if want to be in top 3 but think were a few players short,2 in mid and 1 up top? Like Taylor but don't think he clinical enough that's where we will struggle v top sides, got to take those chances

Always a bit of a disappointment with conceding a late goal but satisfied with a point overall as Plymouth looked a very strong team. It was important today we did not lose.
Thought their wide man no 11 wylde was quality, probably one of the best wingers i have seen this season.

Great game of football against a strong team.
Tom Lockyer and Tom Parkes were magnificent! Let's hope there weren't any scouts watching! Lockyer is the closest that I've seen to being as good as Gary Mabbutt at the same age.
I'll have a fiver that the GAWS number 6 elbowed or punched Gaffney in the first half!?
Their number 11 was a tidy player.
Would've have taken a point before the game.
Onwards and upwards!

I have learnt that gafney is so much better than taylor, he can hold the ball and turn a defender without falling over...

We should have held on. their move started when Montano put in a cross when he could have taken it to the corner, or ran in to the box. Still I thought he did well when he came on, and to be honest we could have gone 2-0 up just before then

Lines also did little throughout the game and many around me were miffed that he stayed on at the expense of Mansell. Fair result but oh so close to a precious 3 pts.

Gutted we couldn't hold on.... but in reality to be disappointed with only a point from the league leaders is a sign of how far we've come. 4 points from 2 top sides. UTG

This time last week I said I'd be happy with a draw in each game, 4 points is brilliant against teams in the top three.

I'm a fan of Taylor too don't think I'm being unfair, think he will struggle in a higher division unless he's in a top team getting four or five chances in a game, not the next vardy for me Lines..again will struggle in a higher league he's good at some things but doesn't give you what you need in a alround midfielder, you def need the beard next to him cause he can't tackle and rarely breaks through the op midfield Defence is good, midfield 2 short maybe 1 in this league and 1 striker

Thought we were a far better attacking force when Easter replaced Taylor, is pass back to the goalie was unforgiveable as it was the 2nd week running he's wasted a chance when presented to him on a plate. Plus his rolling about on the floor looking for fouls is becoming as boring as Harrold's did. I expect Easter to start next with Taylor benched, assuming Taylor's still here.
Thought overall a draw was a fair result although concededing an equaliser in the manner we did so late in the game makes it feel almost like a defeat. All our defenders were outstanding today but I thought Parkes edged out Lockyer.

Hi
Argyle Fan here. Good game today. Think a draw was fair
Just wanted to say i hope you lot go up with us and Pompey
Three clubs which should be playing higher with great support and decent fans
Oxford are arrogant and think they are something special, when they really are not. Hope Northampton go up via the playoffs
Good luck for the rest of the season

Can't be easy for players like Montano to come in and play well when he's not been getting any game time, so I thought he did well today in a big game.

Thought today's game was an excellent advert for five 2 football in front of a passionate and noisy crowd at times in the blackthorn it's the loudest I have heard for many a year shame we could not hold on but as everyone us saying 4 points from top 2 sides is a great return if we can get at least that again in the next 2 games I will be happy

If it was up to me little wankrs like Burton wouldn't be allowed promotion.
