If you look at the figures for last Saturday and take out the plymuff fans that leaves us with almost 9000 gasheads at the game , if we keep playing the way we are and keep getting the results there is no reason why that 9000 figure should become the norm for home support and even growing on that figure towards the end of the season could see a lot more games being all ticket keep the support coming gasheads Saturdays performance from the terrace and stands was enourmous utg

Must admit I was disappointed yet again to be told that the south stand was sold out, only to see lots of empty seats there. Also that it wasn't a sell out. But as you say, keep winning and it will happen.

No. In addition to the standard 12 (is it?) columns of seats for the neutral zone, there was a huge patch next to that which was mostly empty. It looked awful coz it was right behind the goal. Seems a bit strange to have some of the best seats in a sold out stand in a stadium short of seating empty for a game like that.

I'm starting to think there is an obsession with forum members exploding... I'm sorry but this hypothesis is about as tinpot as it gets!

I assumed as it was Plymouth they left even more seats empty, surely it wasn't just a coincidence it was next to the seats which are usually empty? Talking of the tent end I wonder how much it would cost, and how long it would take, to bring the temporary stand back on the West Stand side, if we look like having a good end to the season?

I'm fairly certain there as are two reasons why we cant expand the tent. 1. The houses behind on Alton Rd? There wouldn't be enough room. 2. We cant just increase capacity of the ground without the proper PP. We could put the Guinness stand back up, but to do that we would have reduce the capacity elsewhere in the ground.

if we can fill the mem then just give the away fans the tent and we have the rest of the ground, no lost spaces due to segregation then

It's a cheap, sheltered seat. For all its shiteholeness the Mem, like a lot of old school grounds, really does have a great variety of types of places to watch the game, and a place for everyone.

Not sure we will get many more 10000 + gates as our last few home games have had fairly good away support and Xmas period whee crowds are always up, would love to see it but doubt it. UTG
