Hmm. A bit underwelmed but will mainly be backup anyway and hopefully experience will help us get over the line and can bring others into play. Good luck Rory.

Different option to the other strikers we have here.
Doubt he'll start many games, but allows us to change it up during a match.
Only on non-contract terms too, so nothing to lose really.

I never really understand what 'non-contract' means? Does he get payed when he plays or not at all?

Trust DC on this, as hes been training with us for the last 4 weeks, DC has obviously seen something that Rory can bring to the squad

Played at the 2010 World Cup for New Zealand, weren't they the only unbeaten team after drawing all their group games?

Similar to how Bodin joined us. Not a bad signing then when you look at it like that, not like we've got anything to lose.

Clearly passionate about being back in the game - gonna work his bollocks off and to be fair his last team was Scunthorpe and he did well there.
Let's hope he hits the ground running.
Also in his interview he clarifies that non-contract means he still gets paid but if Rovers want to get rid of him, they can at any time.
He also said he's not one to turn down an opportunity and is excited to prove himself.

Decent signing. Who do the underwhelmed posters expect us to sign?

Someone that didn't surprise them usually.

Like you say he is going to work his socks off now to get a contract, as Hugo said that's what Bodin did, and he's turned out a tidy little player.

In particular Saturday may be a game for 'grafters' - not that Easter and Taylor don't put a shift in but on a pitch like they have it may be better to stick Gaffers and Fallon up top and hit them with some power.

Is this the longest most drawn out signing in the history of Bristol Rovers?

They'll both score for the "Rories Scoring Glory Story" (esp. for the Green 'Un).
