Put money into the club at the beginning of the season rather than clearing up the mess at the end? The money would be an investment and with hard work and a positive attitude there would be success rather than a mess. Make sense?

Haven't the board been throwing too much money in already? Hasn't got us too far...
In saying that, if there was ever a time to throw a bit extra at it, it would be now with the importance of getting out of the Conference ASAP, and DC's pretty sound transfer policy.

Haven't the board been throwing too much money in already? Hasn't got us too far... that's my point don't they throw it in at the end. Seems to me this game is all about scoring goals and that's where the investment should be. A striker will change everything around, we have not replaced Lambert and we have made a fortune on him and we are still raking it in so why don't we invest heavily in a goal scorer again> Too simplistic? I don't think so.

hmmmmm.....
the money, hasn't been the issue in my opinion, we had (apparently) a top 5 budget for the last 2 seasons, and that got us nowhere, actually I tell a lie, it got us into the conference....
it's all about culture and communication....

Raking it in? You do know how much the club is (still) losing every year, right?

It seems the money was there last season but Ward thought a team of youth players would take us up.

Haven't the board been throwing too much money in already? Hasn't got us too far... Throwing too much money in the wrong places. Signing crocks and mercenaries on big bucks is a waste of money. Spending on a good scouting network is wise spending. The days of players joining Bristol Rovers because 'they pay good money' are hopefully dead and buried.

Spend it on a bloody good striker IMO. If I hear 'we played well, but couldn't score' again this season I am not sure I could take it anymore/

A Wally Walters and a Vitas would go down a dream in this team.
