Obviously has quality and loves the club although his attitude has been questioned I think he's matured slightly.
I think he deserve another start soon. Bit more pace and creativity in the centre of the park. lawrence, Sincs and mansell aren't the quickest aret they? Is it worth dropping someone who gets stuck in for someone that will create more and can score ?
Just wondering other fans thoughts.

IMHO Lines in a middle 3 with Mansell and Sinclair would allow him (or maybe Lawrence if/when he comes good) to play that creative role. The challenge for DC is then to work out how to have a centre midfield three without making us too narrow - 433 at home 532 away?

Lines in the middle with Mans and Stuey is our best option and if fit that should be our midfield. Brown and leads bombing past with Lockyer in the middle of defence with two of Mc crystal Clarke or Parkes alongside. The front two should be Gaf and Tsylor for our next game but if it's not working then Fallon needs to be given a chance.
I like lines and we look a much better side with him there.

Given LL has apparently been guaranteed a contract for next season if we go up then surely DC sees him as CL's replacement?

I like him too but he doesn't get enough goals, look at the top 3 clubs they players who can take the pressure off their strikers by scoring goals Nobody would grumble at a striker for not scoring for a few games if we were getting goals from midfield, too much pressure on our front 2 and v the better sides they get poor service

Not sure what to make of Lines this season, didn't seem interested the times I've seen him play.
What we need is a JJ O'Toole type playing like he is now

We need someone with drive in the midfield, Lines is the only player that can do that and has a reasonable turn of speed. As for Lawrence being Lines replacement. Ha! I can run faster than Lawrence, and I'm almost 30 years older than him
