None of us would actually be on this forum if he hadn't closed down the OF back in 2013! We've at least been able to criticise, complain, argue and abuse (occasionally) without fear of any comeback from the club (as long as it has not been libellous). I thank him for the money he's put into the club and the fact that he got the UWE project ready to go, but don't thank him for the way he ran the club and managed to get us out of the league. I'm sure he's getting most, if not all of his money back from the deal, or he wouldn't be much of a businessman. He is/was always a gashead at heart, but I bet the head took over in the end! Thanks Nick! He was regarded as a control freak by even his most closest associates (heard it from their lips) and I will not forget his devious and aggressive attitude to supporters who were still bothered to fight for Rovers predicament and revival when we sank into NON-League football. I sincerely hope Ken Masters leaves soon for the same reasons. They are people who maybe support Rovers support but their attitude absolutely STANK !! I sincerely hope, however, that the new owners, maybe soon or once the season ends invite Gasheads for a Question and Answer meeting as I am sure WE will have many questions to ask them. UTG ! Totally agree, Ken was so embarressing

You hope that a fan of the club cannot come to watch a game free from a spiteful ban? Of course this time yesterday you were slagging off anyone who believed the takeover was a reality. Spencer banned himself with his own mouth. Ask him, he knows it. If that was the case a large % of this forum would be banned. Higgs didn't like being called out for being wrong time after time. It's history now though and thankfully so is he.

Never mind, avoid it if you like. Try asking a clear question and using the quote button from time to time. Be quick though because I'm off to the pub.

I see so in your opinion if one is not happy about the running of the club and says so he /she deserves to be banned from attending matches?

Jaggas, just incase Holmes is still answering for you, Spencer was not banned for pointing out others failings and he knows it, ask him.

Higgs is an odious small minded little toad who was wholly responsible for running the club in an amateur way making bad decision after bad decision. Now that he has gone I am sure Kevin Spencer will be free to come to The Mem and the UWE whenever he wants. Is this your 1st ever post connected to Bristol Rovers?

Spencer banned himself with his own mouth. Ask him, he knows it. Typical NH though, not thinking though his actions, why didn't he just arrange to meet KS and advise him if he continued with his criticism he'd be banned? NH's my way or the highway was probably his greatest undoing, how many other people has he offended with that approach? He leaves Rovers a division below where he started and £10m+ in debt, jumping ship as the wonga loan threatened to capsize the club, remind me again what we're thanking him for?

Well at least GD might now be invited to club social events and take his rightful place as a club vice president now that the vindictive odious little toad has gone. For a man of your experience and age you do act like a child at times

I wonder how Ms Radish will take this ? Interesting point i will wager she will remain quiet from now on, due to the change of owner and her own false image (read into that how you will and you will probably be right )

For a man of your experience and age you do act like a child at times For making us an attractive proposition to a potential purchaser who has the capability of pushing us forward. If you borrow £20k to do your house up and it adds £100k to the price then people call that an investment rather than a debt. When Higgs took over we were a club with overpaid mercenaries just ready to drop out of div1. We are now a club on the rise albeit from a league below - but with an investor on board who will deliver the new ground that NH has done so much work on. I dont know the guy so cant say whether I like or dislike him as an individual. I do know however that he offered to resign when we were relegated and actively canvased people to take over but no-one would take us on. He could have abandoned ship then but instead guaranteed more money to get us back into the league.

His leadership has been a damn right embarrassment from that day to Friday. The End.
