Been buying tickets for years. Now it's happened, after the initial euphoria I'm feeling like "what happens now?" Guess we just sit back and enjoy the ride.

I held him earlier and said one day son you could be watching the gas in the top flight,my dad always said to me I will never see the gas in the top flight what we need is a rich Arab to take over Nice one dad Utg

Brought a tear to my eye tbh...never thought I'd ever be able to hear her,or anyone else for that matter, ever say or suggest something like that.. Been an emotional day...but hey, that's what being a Rovers Fan has always been about is t it??! UTG

This has been the strangest day of my life that's for sure. I'm glad the news has gradually been leaked throughout the day because if Id woken up to it I'm sure id think I was in some kind of parallel universe or something. Even writing this I feel like maybe I shouldn't because it can't be real. Been supporting our club for 30 odd years and it's always been ragbag Rovers, passionate and fighting for our lives, living by the skin of our arses but always managing to scrape by and today part of me feels sad like we've lost that yet part of me is delighted that we've now seemingly got no financial worries. Mixed emotions, what a strange day. Can't help but think somethings going to go wrong but that's just the old Rovers in me and hopefully the future will be more successful and less worrying but just as passionate and fanatical as it always has been. UTG.

Best thread of the week. Congrats Paul Pirate - let's hope our new owners dont let him down. UTFJG No, that'll be MT when he misses another open goal tomorrow, then looks up to see all of Box 1 shaking their heads at him in disbelief. L just hope after today's event the lads put in a decent performance tomorrow and not another Pompey type one.

No, this is far better. You can win decent money, but not enough to put one over the other lot.
Just feel so sad about good lads I remember from the Tote End days who have missed this, not to mention two people who helped us survive to see this, namely Denis Dunford and Ron Craig.
God bless em all, and those close to you guys that you have lost.

My Dad was not into football (God rest his soul) But my neighbour when i was a kid ( Ron Thomas) took me my first game at Eastville and many more so thanks Ron have not seen you for about 35 years but will never forget you,i have done the same with my neighbours son who as it happens is now my son in law also took my son and stepson, my son was the first to contact me today so excited, personally i would be happy with a decent ground and Championship status not that bothered with the Prem all a bit plastic/showbiz for my liking.

Would love to have hatted to my old dad about the news. Sadly he passed a few years ago. I have to thank him for taking me to Eastville in 1969 and it been a roller coaster ride since then. Now my son travels up from Yeovil to support the gas. Once blue, always blue.
