Thought Lines was alright in the second half personally, Lawrence was very poor for 70 minutes, look ok once we scored, very tough game for all wide players today, both CB's had very good games imo and 100% agree with your Bodin comment, thought the front 2 were poor as well but Gaffney still took his chance very well, everyone's performance stepped up after the goal, that always seems to happen tho doesn't it

His goals to minutes on the pitch must be the best in the side ?

The decision to pull James Clarke and go to 4-4-2 was spot-on. It still took a half time word to really get us playing better, though.

Bodin does chip in with a few important goals. One or two of our strikers rarely do.

His goals to minutes on the pitch must be the best in the side ? It's pretty good but Taylor is still marginally ahead - I'll dig the stats out later.

The crosses got better once Bodin came on (or to be fair we started putting crosses in when Bodin came on)... Took a while for the centre backs and midfield to realise 50-yard balls with the wind behind them will go into touch, and also that 50-yard balls into the wind might not reach where they were aimed. Overall I want more from Lines. He's supposed to be a leader and he has experience. I'm prepared to give Lawrence the benefit of the doubt as this is the first time I've seen him live but Lines is (and I hesitate to say this) once again not the same player we watch when he needs a contract... Finally once again it's a classic case of the team raising the fans and then benefiting from the atmosphere. Once we scored the equaliser I was convinced we'd get the winner. When was the last time the atmosphere at home actually raised the team's performance?

Don't get me wrong under the circumstances I thought the wide player did well, just stating it was very tough for them I.e trying to cross balls in that weather, as for the rest of what you say.. I can't disagree tbh

Definitely the right call to bring Billybob on when he did, Leads was struggling to get forward enough early on and Gaffers was getting dragged out wide quite a bit because there was no one out there, fair play to DC for spotting it and making a big change like that early on, a very good attribute I think our manager has is identifying a problem and changing tactics to right the wrong.
Wasn't really impressed with either Lines or Lawrence tbh but will give them the benefit of the doubt because of the conditions.

We shouldn't be making excuses for well paid professionals based on the conditions. This is England and those conditions are par for this time of year. The only way I would give any player a benefit of doubt would be if they had an off game for an unknown reason. When did Lines last put in a row of decent games?

What made crossing so difficult yesterday was the strong wind being there one minute and gone the next. Crossing in the second half was easier as the wind held the ball up. Obvious innit?

I thought Lines did good. He ran at Morecombe which is what you want. A driving force in midfield. My problem with Lawrence is he doesn't run and he doesn't tackle, and I don't see that is an improvement to the squad. I thought he was poor in the first half, and improved after we scored too. The other problem I have is that he is becoming a permanent fixture in the team and I don't think his performances have warranted it. I would have taken him off yesterday and kept Lines on, because he is mobile and he tackles

Lines ran at Morecambe? I suppose he did once or twice. And he tackles? In a halfhearted way I suppose.....

I've seen all of Lawrence's performances and he's like a slow Chris lines so far. If it's one or the other id pick lines every time.
