I was the one responsible for acquiring the flag. Nick Higgs bought it and as such it is property of the club. It is kept in the stadium and previously I used to organise with the club, picking it up, surfing it, putting it away and returning it after the match. Circumstances have changed and a) I struggle to get to the match early enough b) Kirsty (my contact) no longer works at the club c) I never got any help d) some idiots in the crowd actually made me wonder "why bother?"
We have too many people who start sentences with "we should..." Which always means "somebody else should". Nothing is stopping anybody approach the club and offering their services.

Same thing happened when I was helping to surf it at Walsall away a few years back too. Pretty depressing and I imagine it's the sort of thing captgas is referring to above.
