Great read chaps. I, along with many others have been supporting the Gas for over 50 years. I too am afraid that if we do get successful that we could lose our identify. I truly hope not. It may not be possible to retain it in the Premiership, if that's the case then I would become a follower and not a supporter. After 57 years of being a supporter of tinpot rovers, Premiership maybe a change to far

Aren't fans getting a bit carried with articles like this when the new owners haven't even agreed a deal with the UWE let alone started building the new stadium, we could be stuck at the Mem for a few more years yet, talking about losing our identity in the Premiership is really in realms of getting a bit carried away.

I thought the Trotters would be Millwall or Charlton fans? Is this what our new found wealth is getting us, glory hunting fans from London who can't find a club to match the Gas up there? Cor' blimey guv'ner!

No one in their right minds thinks that we will get into the Premiership in quick time eh come on, it's Bristol Rovers were talking about, nothing comes that easy I think now supporters are believing that it's more of a when not an if we get there. The light at the end date of the tunnel, that has been turned off for so long, is now blazing away with new LEDs.

Somebody's turned the lights back on but until we get some confirmation an agreement been reached/the UWE build is fully funded I won't be getting to carried away given thisw is Rovers we're talking about after all.

There's 20 0tem clubs plus another 15 or so Championship clubs fighting for those 20 places. If we think it's our device right like the Teds do then we're in for a rude awakening!

I just want us to win promotion to league one for now and hopefully more than half fill our new stadium if and when we get it. Just because we've got backing doesn't mean we're going to be successful. If you said to me that we'd be in the top half of league 1 playing at our new stadium in front of average crowds of 14,000 in five years time I'd bite your hand off.
