Torquay fans have gone from laughing at him to loving him. Three goals, winning six points and giving them hope.

Your typical non-league striker. Couldn't do it in league football.

Knowing our luck he'll go on to be a prolific goalscorer and move to a championship club for £2.5 million!

Your typical non-league striker. Couldn't do it in league football. I never understood why after we spent £50K on his transfer fee last season he was never given a real chance this season, when we stuck with the likes of Gosling, I hope he manages to help to keep Torquay up this season.

Helped win us promotion so he was worth it in my view. Bliss' confidence was a bit shot this season, glad he's doing the business at Torquay. It'd be great if they stayed up.

DC explained that he wanted Blissett to be kncoking his door down for games. Blissett didn't do this enough hence why he wasn't played often.

If we're honest, he wasn't given the chance to show he could cut it in the league so I'm not sure he deserves to be totally damned with faint praise. Don't get me wrong, we had better options but then we are 3rd in the league with a lot of the same players as last season. I think Bliss probably could do a job for someone at league 2 level and I hope he gets himself another chance some day.

You do wonder if there was more to it, surely a player who can score in struggling Conference side could do just as good a job as Easter or Fallon have this season, all a bit odd after we splashed out our biggest transfer for years on him last season.

Blissett was our best striker in pre season, so it was a shame he never really had a chance to prove himself, although keep up his current form for Torquay and it won't be too long until he has another crack at league football.

He's sh**. Glad he's doing well at Torquay, nice lad and all that. But he is sh**. He had a few chances and looked way out of his depth each time.
