Let's hope he's learnt from his mistakes? www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-422936/Cunnah-pays-price-Wembley-fiasco.htmlIt seems he only lasted at Villa 6 months so he can hardly take the credit for them finishing 6th? Although the bigger worry is who's paying all these new appointments wages, they must all be on £100K+ but our income won't increase until the new stadium is finished? What's Will Dubey, only looks a youngster actually done in the game to warrant a DoF type role above DC? I sense this will all end with us in a brillant stadium playing at least Championship football, or end in tears like it did at Saturday's opponents not so long ago. Where does it say he's going to be above DC, it says that he's going to be the point of contact when Wael isn't in the country and that he'll be involved with boosting the scouting network and improving the academy but I can't see anything about him being a DoF.

Listening to their interviews is so refreshing, at last we appear to have a professional football club with experienced professional businessmen at the helm. This is going to be a very exciting voyage!

While this all sounds very exciting, I believe there's still no-one with IT skills on the board?
Bunch of charlatans.

However, how is it worrying to consider who is paying new employees wages? Our owner is spending money. That is what they do. He is speculating to accumulate atm because our income streams are shocking.

Positive news and a statement of intent . A stadium at the uwe is going to happen. Reading between the lines my 'guess' is that the plans are going to be looked at again , with improvements being added . This may mean resubmitting for planning permission . IF......the serious aim (and not just a dream) is to be a competitive premier league club a stadium really needs the potential to be expanded to 50,000. A capacity which seems crazy for rovers current crowds.....but that is the requirement if the potential that's talked about is fully realised. So the initial size of stadium is not massively important so long as it's big enough for current needs but has the potential to be expanded without massive disruption. This may also be why there is no pressure to get promotion this season . Making sure we get the right stadium is important . Making sure we have matching training facilities is equally important ,if Rovers wish to attract better players / staff over time. Expect news of an out of town training complex sometime in the next two years .

Wow! An air of professionalism hits Rovers!!!
Good luck chaps!
First question - how do we get the missing Wembley 25,000 interested again?

Yeah, let's think about the Prem shall we? FFS. Like those teams we keep mentioning....Swansea, Hull etc. There are fully established teams in that division that don't need 50k seats let alone a side like us who can't even sell that many for a Wembley final. Let's keep it real eh?

They won't comment as these appointments don't fit with their assumption that in footballing terms wael is only worth a fiver. Well this fiver looks like it's going to have to be used wisely in order to fund the Upscaled (facilities) uwe, the start of our new scouting network, service of the clubs debt and loan signings for a automatic promotion push. We will be bust by Christmas!!

www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/introducing-key-personnel-2985283.aspxI posted this on the UWE Stadium thread but think it deserves its own thread. Some very interesting points about the three individuals there. Good to see us moving forward very quickly (Wael has only been here 10 minutes!!). Top credentials, I know Wembley Stadium had its critics at the time build wise but to have the former Chief Exec of Wembley has to be a good thing for our stadium move doesn't it? He was also finance director of the FA, that has to be a step up from Tony! Interesting to see what Will Dubey does, he seems a young un and says he is the contact between DC and Wael when he's not around, it'l be interesting to see what exactly he does. Refreshing article though I thought, good to see continuous strides in what seems like the right direction. Can UWE finally seem like a reality rather than a dream? Someone please post this on OTIB - 136 pages of us dreaming we are bigger than them and now a thread on Forbes listings Showing SL has moved up 100 places and no sign of our guys - pathetic mugs grasping at anything to try an overcome their embarrassment that we might be suddenly progressing faster than them off the field
