Can I say in Severciders defence, I think with the wording of the resolution and the information publicly available it was very easy to come to the that conclusion. I only ever saw Severncider setting out the facts and asking for clarification. If the club or someone itk had given this clarification earlier it would have brought this whole episode to an end weeks ago. I think it is important that people feel they are able to question things that they feel are not correct. To me it just highlights to importance of good clear communication. Good post. Ironic that I make a typo while extolling the values of good clear communication...

The simple truth is that the resolution as put to the meeting clearly stated that the money WOULD go to EW.
Therefore, the resolution was wrong, and whoever put it together owes the apology, not Severcider.

All it needed was a "'brackets' because he 'bought' it for these reasons" and everyone would have been on the same page. Taking it in the context of the Mem buyout, the takeover and the wording of the resolution it's very easy to jump to conclusions....

Which was typical of the old regime, just another instance of a poorly worded document, which created mistrust amongst the fanbase. Onwards and upwards with the professionals at the helm.

Until they make a small mistake and they will be slaughtered on here Nick Higgs wasn't slaughtered for making 1 mistake though was he. It was because it happened time and time again that people started picking it up.
