Clem said away fans numbered 360. excellent for Friday night with match on tv. Strangely despite them having the whole end the commentators said GTFC had sold out their entire allocation. Sounds like FGR up to their old tricks again. Really hope they don't go up! As for Monkhouse and Disley, whilst they combined for the winning goal, their contribution was otherwise not great - as Dis pointed out after he hadn't really got into the game. They are both probably at the right level now considering their age - both great servants to every club they represented, you know exactly what you get. Probably not quite enough for L2 but I wish them both well. Great pros! [ I agree I would like to see fgr remain in the conference they are a horrible little team.

Damn fine away following for Grimsby for a Friday night. Only just turned on, not sure if they have said how many but I would guess at 250 ish. Clem said away fans numbered 360. excellent for Friday night with match on tv. I rate Grimsby as having one of the best away supports in the country in the last few years. They may not take thousands but take enough to make a good away atmosphere, and they ALWAYS make a good atmosphere (especially if they are fortunate to have a roof over their heads ) . Admittedly they are always at the top end of the division which helps. So I applaud them and hope they get their new stadium soon.

I would love for Grimsby to be promoted this season and to be honest I would love for them to win at Wembley in the Play Offs to wipe the memory they have of our victory last year. Good side, good club and decent fans!

I've been hoping all season that Grimsby can rejoin us in the League. They have great support at Conference or League 2 level, and a similar history to us in the League. I know no-one is too big for the Conference any more, but they are a real traditional club whose fans deserve better.
And that 'FISH!' chant at Wembley was awesome.

Regardless it will be two good local derbies for one season if they do go up, but having been second all season you sense they'll blow it again come the Play Offs.
