If people properly researched Will Dubey you would find that he has spent almost all of his working life (just over four years) with Football Radar limited. An interesting company that scientifically analyses matches, and then with the data predicts football scores and sells that to the betting companies.
The research they undertake has to be DATA driven i.e. Facts.
Seems like a really interesting addition to the club and reminds me of what Brentford owner Matthew Benham, the professional gambler, has heavily used to decide on who they buy

Think it's called 'moneyball'.... Believe DC will have the last say but inevitably stats will be given to him and genuine suggestions and options given. Can only be a good thing, been a pain in the ass seeing us miss out on obvious talents.

If you listen to Will Dubey's interview he distances himself a bit from the analytics side of things going forward - even though that's the bulk of his previous experience. His role seems pretty confused other than to say he is a point of contact to provide communication between Darrell and Wael when he's not in the country. I found the whole thing a bit odd. I'd be happier if he'd said that he's 100% focused on analytics and that he was going to advise DC on loan and transfer targets. That's not really what he said though.

You do have to wonder how somebody connected to Football Radar Limited has apparently become Weal's football advisor in England, what's his background other than analytics? Surely he must have more experience if he's going to assist with the scouting network?

DC has said he is happy with the appointment and the role he will play so that is good enough for me....

at brentford it backfired as mark warburton resigned because he didnt want to recruit by using statistical analysis as dc has placed large emphasis on getting the "right characters" to play for the club and i cant see him buying into a similar situation to the brentford one,be interesting to see what happens. i actually have a feeling wael will bring his own man in next season to be manager but i hope not

Clarke is the best thing to happen to this club in a very long time.

Three things DC has mentioned recently should be noted.
One: that he loves statistics . Two: that he would like his coaches spending more of their time coaching and not doing other tasks. Three: that he has long thought the infrastructure of the club needed upgrading.
If WD can use analysis to create shortlists of players in positions DC is looking for then SY & WD will then probably go scout the players to see how they are 'in the flesh' as it were. This will create more squad time for DC and SY (and MS too perhaps ?)
Now if they could get Tom Bradshaw on loan with a view to signing from Walsall ,I would be impressed . Still young,a few seasons experience ,Welsh U19's etc , and scoring in league one. It would show fans the board are serious in ambition .

I reckon Dubey will be a bit like what I would call an 'Exec Assistant', doing lots of running round & keeping Wael up to date without having to impose on Darrell. I think they met through the Data stuff, & yes there may be a bit of analytics stuff, but frankly he is probably quite good at doing reports etc in a style Wael likes, & who wouldnt want to take an opportunity like this. As long as we arent doing well & he isnt passing messages of abuse from Wael than all should be fine with DC!!
