Cambridge (H) Friday 25th March
Carlisle (A) Monday 28th March
We will have 3 players on International duty for those matches.
Should we postpone the games?
Tommy Locks & Ellis will be playing Euro Qualifiers for Wales U21's on Friday 25th & Tuesday 29th.
Oli McBurnie will be playing Euro Qualifiers for Scotland U21's on Thursday 24th & Tuesday 29th.

What idiots decided to play international games at Easter?
Can we really afford to postpone two games at this late stage of the season, given only Lockyer is a first team regular?
I assume loan players do count as one of the three players required to postpone games? Although there must be some doubts regarding Harrison getting called up?

I think it'll depend on momentum and other injuries. If Gaffneys back the only startter from that group is Lockyer. It's a big call but I would definitely play the Cambridge one.
I can't see how a back log of fixtures benefits us at this stage of the season.

I think the Welsh squad is announced tomorrow so we won't have long to wait.

What a joke. The loss of Lockyer could be huge. Even worse if he picks up an injury. Shame as I'd imagine the Friday game would be a bumper crowd but I'd be tempted to call it off.

Locks should give them the middle finger

Perhaps the possible loss of Locks is one of the reasons for giving both Macca and Parksey game time recently, so they are both up to speed and ready.
Ellis and McBurnie haven't really been part of the set up recently so won't be much of a miss but Locks will be a massive miss with how good he's been recently.

Remember the loss of Ronnie Mauge in the run in of the not to be promotion season, injured on an international call up istr.
Tough call for DC if they all get called up.

I think we have been lucky at CB this season in terms of injuries and suspensions. Running a squad with three CB's and a RB who can also play CB when we often play 3 at the back is risky. People always speak about needing strikers but we have often had 5 players for 2 positions this season. I would be much happier if we brought in another CB. I am a fan of big orrible lumps playing CB as when you are in a physical battle they help take the pressure of the weaker skilful players. Yatesy must have spotted a few whilst scouting as he is likely to be watching this position more given this is where he played?

I'm not sure, ultimately its down to us to request a postponement, if we feel one game in three days with a smaller squad is fine but not two I guess that's reasonable? Imagine it would come across as a bit cheeky though.

Get the games played. We have momentum and at this stage its all about points on the board and applying pressure rather than games in hand. Clarke and parkes are more than capable at centre back with Macca in if we play 3 at the back.
McBurnie has never played for Scotland U21 so hopefully he should be with us over easter.

There is no way we should go into those winnable games without locks, ellis, mcburn, sincs, gaffers & Lawrence, would be suicide. However if the latter 3 are fit then i would.

I would rather the Cambridge game be called off of the two, purely from the fact that the rearranged date for Carlisle would then be a Tuesday night meaning I would have to book holiday to attend

Why post that w/o checking the facts? According to Wiki he's played for them and is in their current squad, given his impressive form of late I assume he'll retain his place. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotland_national_under-21_football_teamIt looks like the Championship clubs aren't playing over Easter, I assume it's been set aside for Internationals, if so, I am surprised they can afford to lose the income from the Easter hols games.
