I'm sure he doesn't mind sitting on the bench at the camp nou along with his 50k signing on fee with a new contract and being loaned out next season..

The majority of people will take money before pride.
Thats why a lot of these promising youngsters never make it, they get poached by the big clubs, get paid a lot of money for doing bugger all, and their hunger for the game goes.

He's got at least 10 years of playing time ahead of him, he's training day-in day-out with one of the best goalkeepers to have ever graced the premier league, he's surrounded by some of the best coaching, fitness, nutrition and healthcare professionals in the game, training at one of the best training centres in the world - on top of which he gets very handsomely rewarded financially. I think if he's got any sense he'll be happy to sit tight for a minute, work his a*se off, and wait for his opportunity. Good luck to the boy.

This is why we (as a country) will never win anything (World Cup, Euros) ever again...ironically I don't believe in the myth of 'match fitness', but I do believe in experience. How will warming up at the Nou Camp on a rainy Wednesday help us win the World Cup in the next two cycles....answers on a postcard to the Premier League, C/O we don't care, 11 Spurs Street, Leicester (City, are at least helping)

I hope so - wish Matt all the best - I knew him a bit .Seemed a nice lad. well spoken for a keeper ha ha !! BUT ..... surely you want to play competitive football and not just the developing bit. He is 3rd choice, he's been there 2 years and only played a bit for Accie on loan in that time - so a L2 club. He can keep at it but what's going to happen next for him ?? Hope he sees some league footie soon !
