That was a bit like losing my virginity. Four years of build up, only lasted a couple of minutes, and a disappointing result. I expect. 2 minutes?!? You animal!!!

No suprise with the verdict...
As I said on the other thread I won't shop there again, won't make much of a difference I know - but spending money at their tills will always niggle away at me. The thought of some smug lawyers and executives raising their glasses today to themselves makes me question the morals of our well known buisnesses that portray themselves as having community values and ethics...
To me they will always be Shitsburys - the supermarket that doesn't give a s**t about local communities or sports clubs.
I sincerely hope the club now has a new legal team - or was NH just throwing the dice in desperation regardless of legal advice?
Yes, it's time to move on from this sorry saga, but I'll never forget. This could have been a truely disastrous day for the club.

Looking at the picture of UWE on the clubs statement, it concerns me that only our club could build a stadium in a natural bowl that you have to walk up hill to get into. Oh and F U you orange fookers

How much trouble would we be in if the Al Qadis hadn't taken over?

How much trouble would we be in if the Al Qadis hadn't taken over? did we not have other "consortiums" in the wing waiting to buy the club ?

Have to say the club statement sounded some alarm bells and made me sit up a bit A spokesman for Bristol Rovers said “ We will be looking closely at the Judgement to assess its implications for the club and its future and will make a further statement id due course” I'm thinking the club need to make a definitiove statement and soon, this could be the first real test of the new owners resolve

They took all this into account before buying us and today's decision won't make any difference. Thank God.

According to McNamara on Twitter we now have been offered the chance to take it to the Supreme Court of Appeal.... Will this ever end?... The owners lawyers are reviewing it and will make that decision..

The lesson for me is don't do any kind of business with Sainsbury. I have long since stopped purchasing at the dens of deceit - never to return. Amen.

I'd be very very surprised if the Al-Qadi family would be using the same bunch of lawyers and not their own.
