Does anyone know what time the hearing is ? I've just read on the evil post website that a decision will be made after 10am, although I'm sure I read the other day that we were in court at 10:30.

It's early kick off so that the gallery doesn't have too long to get tanked up (no segregation!).

What are the potential outcomes from today. In my mind I can see 3 possibilities:
1 The original decision is upheld. We keep the Mem (and 31 Filton Avenue) and Sainsbury's are absolved of any liability. We pay legal fees, which I believe are held as a charge in the accounts anyway.
2 The original decision is overturned and Sainsbury's are forced to uphold the contract to purchase the Mem.
3 That Sainsbury's are judged in breech of contract and are forced to pay damages but not forced to uphold the contact.
Under 2 or 3 the club will get some money in the bank which may hasten the progress of the new development. However, does anyone know if the the purchase of the club by Dwayne Sports had any conditions to pay part of any settlement to the old shareholders.

As far as I know it's all or nothing. No damages, just enforcing the contract or throwing it out altogether.

Since the club have likely known the result since yesterday and haven't even mentioned the upcoming decision, I'm going to assume we have lost.

Who knows. It would be mad for the old board to sell the club with effectively £15m in the balance. I would imagine that there is some sort of contingency for that. If this ruling really is in the balance it doesn't make much sense to do the deal just two weeks before the ruling, does it? I thought it might be coz they were in a rush to get UWE going, but they don't seem to be (stating it's a 28 month project for them).
