As a Newport fan I'd like to thank all Rovers supporters for your generous support during the tribute before our game on Saturday.
As poor as we were on the day all County fans I've spoken too agree that you were the best side we've seen at Rodney Parade all season. Play every game like you did the second half and I've no doubt you'll go up.
All the best.

Thanks for your comments. Nothing like momentum and confidence, I was concerned after your result at Pompey, but the previous results seem to mean nothing. Ie we simply reversed your result at the mem. I thought being in the conference was bad but your experience surpasses it. All the best, maybe we can both turn over city in 2 seasons time.

Thankyou County fan for your kind words. I was there on Saturday and not surprised that Gasheads joined in the tribute in memory of the Gentleman concerned after hearing of his fine work not only for your club but the Welsh FA as well. Have to say we have had several similar prematch tributes at the Mem this season and all the away fans have either maintained the silence or clapped as requested. From what I have seen and heard it would appear to me at our level of the football pyramid all supporters seem to embrace the loss of people associated with their clubs with great respect unlike some of the Premier clubs so called supporters who as recently as last week in the LFC/MUFC game brought their insulting behaviour to the attention of the European football authorities. Good luck for the rest of the season but from what I have seen you are no where near the worse sides in league two and should finish the season comfortably.
