I have posted on forums in some form for probably 15 years. I have had a rough ride as a gashead during that time and just wanted to say everything i ever wanted for the club has happened. I never cared about being the best but just being run properly and proffessionally. A massive chip has been lifted from my shoulder today and in the last few weeks and its such a nice feeling.
The club will go from strength to strength now i'm sure and im happy both my Dad and my sons generation will get to see us finally remove our rag bag status and build a properly functioning club.
I hope this closure can bring some real unity both to the forum and fanbase as we have something really special when we are all together as a club.
Onwards and upwards and no More Dunford wheres the money gone

I don't know if anyone else has experienced a similar change in mood from people they know, but "she who casts no shadow's" family are no longer patronising towards me for supporting little old ragbag Rovers. The team's stellar progress on the field combined with the high profile news stories of the new owners, and the promise of a new stadium, has gained their respect. Mind you, they're all web-fingered canary supporters who go round jumping dykes.....or am I confusing that with another website....,anyway, so it's always been a mutual disrespect. However the other good news is that, on the back of all this positivity, Squiffy junior has now started to show some real interest in the team and isn't embarrassed to admit to his mates that he's been to watch a Rovers match. It's been bothering me for a while as Southampton's academy have infiltrated his secondary school in Bath, and it's been a race to see who gets his allegiance first. I'm a firm believer that if you get em young, you've got them for life. So with one successful conversion I feel it is now incumbent upon me to embark on an evangelical crusade, preaching from the gospel according to DC, and bring salvation to as many lost and misguided Premiership supporting juveniles as possible. UTG.
