Fantastic commitment from the boys to ensure a clew sheet.
For me our best centre back pairing is Parkes and Lockyer. But for McCrystal and Clarke to come in and keep a clean sheet against a team with good attackers is fantastic.
Clarke made a bad pass and a slip but I still thought he was brilliant, in the second half he put the CFs in his pockets.
Both CBs a bit agricultural in position but they give it all. Head and clear the lines all day.

And not a bad keeper either! Another top class display by the "over the hill keeper", where are the doubters now?

Aha Bideford, as has been mentioned - that save! Mildy has been great, I'm not expecting the wheels to fall at all. And madgas I agree, good basic defending and played the ball when they could. Very happy with the defence today, even tho we could have been unlucky on a few occasions. Just a bit more luck and May will be dreamy.

Mildenhall was garbage last season and at the very beginning of this one, delighted his ignominious dropping has revived his career at Rovers!

In fairness to DC (who I really like) I don't think he's the type of person ever to admit he got something wrong.

Disagree, there was a problem with his form, he was looking very slow and showing his years and a his distribution was very poor. Glad to say all that has improved massively and he's been top quality since he came back into the team.

That is not the reason he was dropped.

There was never a genuine problem with his form. He was dropped for disciplinary. Heard that rumour ages ago Simon. Having said that no detail ever emerged about it or did it? As regards the doubters, there have been many posters on here this season slagging him off and they have suddenly disappeared into the woodwork following his successful return to the side. No doubt one mistake in the next game will bring them back calling for his head. As far as I am concerned have seen all home games this season and quite a few away and have yet to see any keeper who I would regard as better than Mildy.
