More to the point why would you bother filming the opposition manager just walking though the car park? Was he set up?

Looks embarrassing tbh, I'd rather not have seen it. 'Go home', regardless of what came after would indicate Derry was not the antagonist.

It could be anything. Obviously football fan baits manager is a much more likely scenario than football manager baits fan.

Apparently, the comment was something along the lines of 'Why didn't you play your first team today, Derry?'. I'm sure he's heard worse. A man as experienced as Shaun Derry (ex-premier league player) should know better than to rise to the taunts of a couple of football supporters.

'Go home', regardless of what came after would indicate Derry was not the antagonist. a better manager would have left it at the 'go home' bit In life there are winners, and there are people who make excuses. From what I have seen or heard about Derry, and a few other managers in our League, they definitely fall into the latter category. yet another reason to be happy to have DC.

Hm, so, (really) was that not the CUFC first team? Yeah it's a fair point to say he should have been a better man and I'm not condoning it, but the video shows very little. I find it embarrassing, on many levels, for the four of them and for our club.
And regarding those two categories of people mehew, I'm certain there are many more. I've never heard an excuse from Craig Stanley for example and he's hardly a winner (though better at football and probably better paid than most of us).

Hm, so, (really) was that not the CUFC first team? they only made one change from last game and only had 5 on the bench, so I'd suggest it clearly was their best side.

I was surprised he was wandering around the stadium site unaccompanied by a steward.

The lady who posted the video has put more info about what happened on the FB page:-
"I just want to explain the video and why it's only 5 seconds and what I saw. My friends boys wanted to meet some players so we went to the back of the west stand and waited (after running around the ground) a few came out, there were about 3 or 4 other boys there (all under about 10ish) the three blokes were with a couple of the boys and we were all having a laugh and a chat, the Cambridge manager came out and was in a foul mood (I was talking to their driver and he had already got on and off the coach once) the one of the blokes shouted alright Shaun, and the manager went to the coach and then walked over to the blokes having a go about fuckinv disrespecting him and in all this I was trying to get my video mode working. I did not hear or see anything for the guys to make him react like this. I'm so annoyed I didn't get the whole thing as on Twitter I'm getting sh** about making this up and our fans winding him up. I don't care if they said anything, there were kids around and he should not speak to any fans like that, he should of just got on the bus."

So nothing really happened then? Apart from Derry being highly unprofessional, it appears not.
