Accrington V Cambridge
Bristol Rovers V Crawley
Exeter V Plymouth Northampton V Notts County
Portsmouth V Carlisle Wycombe V Wimbledon
York V Leyton Orient
Sadly I think Accrington seem to be hitting form and I expect them to beat Cambridge. Rovers should beat Crawley although Plymouth might struggle in their "local derby" against Exeter. Oxford do not play next Saturday, and this will be our game in hand over them. The table could look very different next Saturday

Exeter are in a good run of form and the play-offs are not beyond possibility.
No love lost between them and Plymouth and a slip up could well be on the cards for 'muff.

I also think Plymouth will drop points at Exeter, they don't have a massively great record there despite winning last season.
Can't see Accy slipping up though, their remaining away games (Luton, Hartlepool and Wycombe) will be where we need to watch.
I am kind of expecting Oxford to rally after their JPT final, I think it explains the recent loss of form.

We were bound to lose one, if not two games or possibly three on the run in and there were always going to be twists and turns. But, without any doubt those twists and turns will also strike the other teams in the promotion race. I still think that we will be strong enough to battle back into the automatic promotion places.
Before today, I thought that it will take 5 more wins to do it and I don't see that that is an impossible task. I have a funny feeling that it will be US and Accrington that make it and that Oxford and Plymouth could fall over.

Right this is my perspective we do not want to hit the front too soon, I don't care if we don't return to the top three until 80 mins V Dagenham, it's where we finish that counts, a lttle less pressure and to come from behind "Ooh matron!" Might not be a bad thing. Certainly not time for an almighty meltdown, cmon Gas show some metal, we have never had it plain sailing, even to get our new floodlights took ages, nothing comes easy! Up the Gas!

I think the Plymouth, Accrington and Rovers merry go round (currently 3-4-5) will move again and I can see it being 5-3-4 at 5pm

Automatic was beyond my wildest dreams until a couple of weeks ago and playoffs was a pipe dream at the start of the season. Reality is we just sneaked into the top three, but there is still a long way to go anything could happen.

Only just seen today's results (knew ours obviously!) plymouth conceded two at home against a poor team, Oxford slipped up and are within range if we win our game in hand. Even northampton not looking unbeatable at the moment. I think this is still very much on.

Stay within 3pts of autos and it's a possibility right til the last game. What BRFC have to do is rack up the goals on the games they should win as goal difference could make the difference and let's make it in our favour this time round.

Plymouth might struggle against Exeter as their in form... Accrington in my opinion and to be completely honest has the best run in til the end and are in form...so I can see Northampton/Oxford/Accrington being the top 3 and then argyle/us/Portsmouth/Wycombe...lets hope we get argyle or Wycombe...

It's 4 wins from 6 and with Plymouth being one of those, drawn one and lost to Pompey so their not playing too bad? I'll be happy with play off as we have Northampton/Yeovil/Exeter and Stevenage can be dodgy place to go

I wasn't saying it was I just meant their playing better than they were and have the easier run in...I know bottom teams are all fighting for their lives but I think their be there at the end and realistically play offs is something we would all happily taken at the start of the season...

TBF Accrington have been a threat all season and I would hate to have to play them in the playoffs as they have beaten us well twice already. So just hoping we can sneak an automatic place.

So have Pompey and we've yet to beat Plymouth this season plus playing Wycombe is never an easy game. Personally I'd bust a gut to make the top 3, which makes today's loss a bit of a sickener given that Carlisle hadn't previously won in 6 starts. Think we need Plymouth & /or Accrington to slip up next week assuming we win, as we'll struggle to get anything at Sixfields.

Just had a look at the teams from second to ninth....some interesting things crop up. We're the only team in this 'mini-league' not to have to play anyone else in this mini-league in the run-in.
The remaining games (in no particular order) are:
Orient v Plymouth Portsmouth v Plymouth Portsmouth v Wycombe Portsmouth v Crawley Oxford v Wycombe Wycombe v Accrington Carlisle v Oxford
Lots of points have to be dropped by other teams in the top nine places....

We can only hope. To be fair its quite plausible (albeit unlikely) but we could be back in the autos 5pm on Saturday. Drop points on Saturday though and it'll be a stretch.

We all need to stay calm. We know from 2 years ago that it doesn't matter in the slightest where you are during the run in, it's where you finish that counts. There are plenty of points to play for and plenty will be dropped. However down we feel after yesterday, there will be similar lows to come for our rivals too (hopefully no more for us!). I'm sure that despite winning, Plymouth fans feel just a little bit gutted that they didn't go on to give their goal difference a massive boost yesterday and Oxford won't relish watching others picking up points on Saturday without them even kicking a ball! We need to try to enjoy the ride!
