Frankly, no one in the Crawley side impressed me ! Bloody awful stereotypical Mark Yeates side glad I don't have to watch that every week feel sorry for their fans

There website write-up is hugely biased...
The scoreline flattered us? I felt, we were clearly the superior team and deserved the 3 goals through being the only team trying to play football...
Also Matt Harrold received a standing ovation? do they know this isn't an all seater? Fair, he got half decent clap. But standing ovation? Slight over indulgement?

Thankfully we scored early in the second half, otherwise we would have had to have watched another 45 minutes of that abysmal anti-football they were trying to steal a point with.

I'd rather have Nigel Bond!

The only way they would of won that game is if they had James Bond in the dri build with a sniper gun

Another player who barely showed anything IMO, was former fans favourite DLV. Nearly as anonymous as Andy Bond.

And what about Del a Verde? Everyone on here saying we should sign him a year ago, but what did he do? Very little

Their entire game plan is long high ball up field to Harrold.

He made two forward passes yesterday - that's two more than he made in his time at Rovers!
He might even rival Rob Quinn in my all time rubbish Rovers XI!!!

"playoff chasing Bristol Rovers".
The BBC match report also says that we moved back into the playoff places.

Frankly, no one in the Crawley side impressed me ! Bloody awful stereotypical Mark Yeates side glad I don't have to watch that every week feel sorry for their fans i was writing little 'notes to self' during tge game and one of them was how fortunate we are to be playing interesting football as much as possible. Ok, we're hardly Barcelona, and there are times we are more defensive, but we do try some passing & don't have many dull games. It's a godsend compared to some seasons. Like someone said crawley were almost anti-football. Feel sorry for the 99 red devils floating in the summer sky.

Bias is to be expected & always interesting to read the oppo website & their local rag. It does however make it sound like we are a dastardly set piece team beating Crawley Munich with our trg ground tactics. Little do they know about our usual success at corners...

Their entire game plan is long high ball up field to Harrold. Thing is all managers seem to see Harrold as a target man and he ain't at all. He's an average fourth division striker but he definitely ain't a target man. We went down flogging him as one Crawley did the same last season and if they don't get rid they'll drop out the league with him too next season.
