I think four wins and a draw to see us on 84 should be enough. No one is written off yet though, remember people wrote Accy off a while ago

Players got to go out and not shy away from any battle on the pitch and play like they are playing for survival, every tackle and pass matters. i want us to be the team that covers the most distance, wins th 50/50 challenges. Do this and we can reach 83+ no reason why not. Got to leave everything out on the pitch for the next 6 games.

Over the last 11 seasons in L2 3rd place,
85,81,78,84,80,82,78,88,85,81,80. AVE 82 points.
*Think OP is correct 83 points and a superior goal difference should suffice.
4 more wins = 83 points
*subject to change UTG

I am so confident in this team not only because how well they are playing, team spirit , tactics and how well they are managed. I genuinely believe that this group of players want this promotion so badly for us and themselves! When you see the looks on their faces when making a challenge I can see a determination like I have never seen. It is almost as like these players take to pitch in every game with a great confidence and winning mentality. I think that we will win every game from here on out , I don't know why and I'm not going to be critical of they don't but never in a million years was I expecting to be in this position 2 years ago! If we do manage to get promotion this team Surley has to be one of if not the best teams with ever had!

Yep, D.C. has worked wonders with this group of players.Who would think that we would be in 3rd place after 40 games? The utterly brilliant Mattteee Tee would be top scorer in the league. And my club, the club that I have supported for 50 odd years, would be purchased by a wealthy Jordanian family of Bankers.

One thing that might work in our favour is Oxford are playing in the JPT final today and then are away to Crawley on Saturday. Fingers crossed it goes to extra time and knackers them out

Fingers crossed it goes to extra time and knackers them out I actually think the JPT final today might work in our favour as Barnsley are no mugs and it will be a demanding game both physically and mentally and I expect Barnsley to win - having said that obviously us losing to Doncaster seemed to galvanise our season and gave us impetus to achieve promotion albeit via the Playoffs of course which won't be the case for Oxford. It could still take more out of them than good especially with some injuries and bookings. Lee Johnson is a guest of Barnsleys chairman there and I love the arrogance on OTIB that they think they will go out and buy Roofe now for next season. Im sure the Sh&t will be way down the list if Roofe decided to go anywhere

Ply & oxford got some hard games.
But suddenly exeter & yeovil looking harder for us. Yeovil have 7 clean sheets in 8 and 1 loss in 10.

Personally I think we will have to be a club who wins back to back promotion via the play offs that is the most realistic outcome just my opinion of course!

Surely that's the most pessimistic not realistic outcome? We have as good a chance of any of the top 6, bar Northampton & Oxford, of finishing 3rd plus we are the form side and have a striker on a rich vain of form. I wouldn't swap our position or remaining fixtures for any of other contenders for 3rd.

I am quite nervous about the Yeovil and Exeter games as Yeovil are virtually safe and will be more relaxed than our boys more so if we come unstuck at Northampton where even a point may not be good enough to keep us in top three, also Exeter have really good away form so both of these games are going to be really tough just being realistic. Utg !

They've come from bottom half on a great run and now 2 points off play offs. 2006/07 we only got in the play-offs in the penultimate weekend, I feel that if Exeter got in those positions early there's a chance of a wobble. In an ideal world... Yeovil secure FL safety by Saturday (win tomorrow night vs Stevenage, do enough on Saturday vs Exeter/York lose) Exeter get in play-offs by the time we play them, pressure builds on them
