One minor observation...when will we start referring to Ollie Clarke as 'one of our own' too?

Still think - in our best 11 that we should have either Mansell or Sinclair alongside Lawrence or lines in the middle. Mansell/Sincs do so much work off the ball, making opposition midfields rush the ball forwards or revert to playing it back.
Anyone have any news about Mansell or Sinclair ? Personally, would love one of them playing v Northampton on Saturday.

I spoke with Stu Sinclair last Tuesday and he said he would be fit and available for selection against Northampton..... doesn't mean he will be selected though or even make the squad

Agree with most of the original post. What does puzzle me about Linesy is reluctance to shoot. Many times we have seen him bursting out of midfield, terrorising the opposition defence but not finishing it off with a shot, instead he passes the ball and what's happened to his dead ball kicking? His free kicks used to be a delight to watch, but not now, why? Can't just be a confidence issue surely?

If for no other reason than Stu putting one on JJO'T again. There wasn't much to shout about in the reverse fixture but that was poetic.

Wasn't meant to be a snub to Ollie, but he hasn't been a first-team regular this season and we don't expect that much from him. Lines, on the other hand, was someone we spent most of the summer pursuing and we bought him back with a lot to prove. He has never been everyone's cup of tea, and sometimes the fact he is labelled one of our own puts more pressure on him. Ollie might prefer to stay in the background if he sees what Linesy has had to put up with! To be fair, though, he and Bodin are our two most creative midfielders so to have them playing well in bound to benefit the team going forward.
