Have not seen it mentioned on here, Huddersfield have done an initiative similar to Bradfords, they sold season tickets at £187, and have had 15,000 takers. Think that is too cheap but if we did ours at £250 for UWE, bet we would sell that number. Also park and ride planned for Lyde green, would make the travel to UWE better. What do you think about the initiative?

Think we need to build the UWE before we start discussing season ticket prices? But 15K @ £200 makes more sense than 10K @ £300 as the extra 5k will no doubt spend on food & drink etc?
Altought did I read somewhere the 82'ers are putting some of their ST's up by 40% which seems the opposite approach??

The problem with this initiative is that you are essentially devaluing your product and the longer it continues it becomes near impossible to ever raise the prices again. I think we need to box clever at uwe with pricing and structure it right. Have a family ticket where an adult pays full price and any accompanied children go cheap, say 100 quid student season ticket, and 250 for behind the goal with the premium seats along the side. You make no extra revenue reducing for everyone because a large chunk would have bought anyway at the higher price. I think the 260 i've just paid for my north terrace season ticket represents excellent value at just over £11 per match to be honest.

I know selling season tickets that way gets the money in the bank but they're probably gonna have a lot of empty seats throughout the season, particularly if they're not doing so well.
Pick up a lot of floaters at those prices. I know not all our season ticket holders get to every game but at full price at least you want to!
