To start with stop slagging him off on this forum, some of the constant abuse he has had to endure has been shocking, get behind him, love him (not literally), chant his name more. FFS he's had two seasons of scoring 20 plus goals for us, that in itself is not to be sniff at. As he said he will sit down and discuss the way forward, hopefully that will be with us. Let's hope the rich vein of scoring keeps going until the end of the season cuz not many others are scoring so many. UTG

Tell him, Tbone cannot take him to Edinburgh now, because his Sat Nav doesn't work north of the border. What??? You're coming to Edinburgh? I'm outta here. ......

Shake his hand, say thank you and say good-bye, move on, and sign some one else; or maybe, give Ellis a run in the side. UTG

If we get promotion, it's 50:50.
If we fail there's 0% chance.

Am I missing something here or what, surely we can match what anyone else can offer him now weal owns us? its not just about the money it's about the level, if we can get promoted then maybe we could compete but if we don't go up and clubs above us come in for him, we'll need to offer him a rediculous contract which won't happen.

The financial intent of our new owners will be tested in the summer, keeping dc, lockyer, and taylor will cost, we will then find out if they mean business.

I do remember quite a few "football Knowledgeables " on here earlier in the season giving him 2 or 3 out of 10 for games with the next lowest player getting a "5" or "6" These Football knowledgeable seem to think a Rovers striker has to score with every chance they're given - I wonder what they are/were like at football ?? Taylor, thankfully, has an awful lot of other attributes apart from the ability to score all types of goals. We are very lucky that we have him and Gaffney (and some decent back up) - they may just get us the goals to seal automatic promotion. UTG !

Am I missing something here or what, surely we can match what anyone else can offer him now weal owns us? Possibly true, we don't know yet how much new owner willing to spend. But rhetoric seems to be around one step at a time / sustainable growth not boom / bust. That says to me we won't keep key team members at any cost. I for one think that is right way to build. However, I don't think we should over worry about Taylor. Personally I'd be more worried about keeping DC first. He will be a bigger target than Taylor if we do the double, and securing him also key to keeping players, inc Taylor

I quote, misses more than he scores, clueless,to name a few.

Apologies, you are correct, it was DC that was clueless but I believe that he got unnecessary stick on here and also the terraces. You see nothing comes out of negativity only negativity, it is good to debate a topic but there is a big difference between that and moronic abuse.
