No. It's sh**. I would have preferred us to have built the ground on Carson's road 25 years ago. I suppose you did not like eastville or twerton park either and have a ticket in the Olympic grandstand at Wembley or at the emirates Eastville was acceptable for its time and our home. Trumpton was a stop gap, my first ground. It was sh** but we had great times there. No getting away from the fact that it was a sh** ground. The mem is sh**, poor all round, outdated and has held us back. It's 2016 and since 96 the ground has barely changed. We have been left behind by loads of sides.

I always worry when I agree with you that it's going to come back to haunt me...

Am I correct in that the large stand behind the goal at Eastleigh is a "temporary" stand ? Would the implementation of a solid roof and sides for the south stand make it more appealing and not just attract those that like camping ? (Portaloo's ,living under canvas ,getting wet when getting food etc etc )
Could a temporary terrace area be added where the guinness stand once stood ?

I sense a temporary seated stand is easier to install/obtain pp than a temporary terraced stand.
Making the south stand less "temporary" looking and also bringing back the Guinness Stand sound like quick wins to me for the new owners.

I'd agree that extra seating would be most desirable, but as an example the away end at Barnet is 'temporary' or at least it is a pre-fabricated steel construction (I'm sure there are others). The priority is to get the new stadium right, but someone should be doing a proper cost-benefit analysis of short-term extra capacity at the Mem.
