What is the deal with regard to children having season tickets. There are 2 seats close to us that are empty most match days and I have been told that it is because the guy at the side has taken them for his kids but they dont come that often. There has been a suggestion that they were free so had nothing to lose by booking them .

I was hoping to get season tickets for myself and my 12 year old son in the East Stand, but looks like I have left it too late. We normally buy on a match by match basis, and we go in East stand so my son can see, as he is not the tallest! Prefer the view from the side of the pitch, so not sure which is best: East terrace, West enclosure or Family enclosure? Any help appreciated! Thanks

Yes not had a season ticket since 2001 and only did about five home game's a season but I will be buying two season tickets next week. Blimey that's been a keen fan!! I have a Seven year old who is buying into the football and loving it. Also I think we will sell out on a regular basis and I want to be sure that we are part of it.

Not sure about the differences between standing and seating but if you order an adult season, when recieved ring up the club shop with the ref no and your details and they'll send out a form for young pirates and details for the free ST. Quite a simple process.

I think they have removed that from certain areas of the ground now (Dribuild and West Stand) due to limited seating. Where is is season ticket? I have do this in the South Stand - ie buy the season tickets for the kids (£11 each for the season) but mine turn up just about all games except midweek nights as they have school. We need more seats.

Perhaps the T&C's should say the seats must be used regularly or they'll be withdrawn although I guess it's impossible to police.

Limited seated season tickets could mean the return of the "Guinness" stand in the corner for non ST holders?

Out of interest Outsidehitter30 what are your reasons for buying a ST ? I will try to answer you again as last time I managed to attach to the wrong reply My response is: I have a Seven year old who is buying into the football and loving it. Also I think we will sell out on a regular basis and I want to be sure that we are part of it.

Tbone is buying 2. 1 for him and 1 for matty Taylor's mum, as a thank you for giving birth to him. either that or one for him and one for the chip on his shoulder

And a bit close to some of the "riper" shouts from the North Terrace - my 9 year old granddaughter asked me what "shag" meant (from the Rory Gaffney" song) - I told her it meant "hug"!! Strangely, she knew all the other swear words - schooling in Berkeley is obviously not what it used to be!

Given season ticket sales look promising and with seats particularly in limited supply, have the club thought about bringing back the Guinness Stand and then using that as a family stand?

Can you imagine how difficult it will be to get an away ticket next season if no season ticket....... as it will very likely not get to general sale at any game? Maybe the way forward to promote the beam back more regular which equals more income for the club things looking very healthy now.

Can you imagine how difficult it will be to get an away ticket next season if no season ticket....... as it will very likely not get to general sale at any game? that thought dawned on me yesterday as well. if we sold, say 5,000+ ST's, it would make a huge block of people who could buy away tickets before supporter's club members such as myself. i have to say I'd be pretty p'ed off if I couldn't get tickets for a high percentage of away games just because I can't afford the money or time to have a ST. having said this, it should depend what division we are in . There are some larger stadiums in Lge 1 and it is more northern, whereas Lge 2 at the moment is the perfect storm as it includes a lot of southern clubs with small capacities. NOTE - ADDED TO AS ORIGINAL POST WAS 'SENT' BEFORE FINISHED.

Our traveling support will shrink if we aren't winning. It's natural for fickle fanbases.

UTG as much as I love the confidence, I'm starting to find it all a bit bizarre that people talk about Lge 1 as if we were more in Oxford's position, or even Cobblers, than our own.
