Update on supporters club web page we have now sold 2990 terrace season tickets already !! Only limited seating left as well so we must be well over 4000 easily. So we have surpassed this years sales quite convincingly The club expect no seats to be available on matchdays as long as all existing holders renew. So that's another 1200 east stand plus 750 west and approx 5-600 south. Comfortably topping 5000.

This sort of thing has a snowball effect because exsisting some POTD's will panic about not getting a seat and order a season ticket and who know's with a bit of luck we may even get a bit over 5k

Bought mine today. First time ever, having followed the Gas for over 30 years. Unlikely to make lots of games, but felt like switching from the Helpline

Must be a case for return of the Guinness stand and/or extension of the south stand

This is why wael bought the club the potential is massive. What crowds would we expect IF we were in league 1/championship in a brand new ground playing forest, derby, sheff weds etc week in week out My personal opinion is 15000-20000 easily

Unlikely to make lots of games, but felt like switching from the Helpline It's worth it for convenience i think, will miss quite a few myself but it guarantees no hassle, if we go up and are top 8 you will almost certainly have to buy tickets in advance anyway to guarantee getting in. Looks like we've topped 3000 (terrace) now according to the online figures.

that thought dawned on me yesterday as well. if we sold, say 5,000+ ST's, it would make a huge block of people who could buy away tickets before supporter's club members such as myself. i have to say I'd be pretty p'ed off if I couldn't get tickets for a high percentage of away games just because I can't afford the money or time to have a ST. having said this, it should depend what division we are in . There are some larger stadiums in Lge 1 and it is more northern, whereas Lge 2 at the moment is the perfect storm as it includes a lot of southern clubs with small capacities. NOTE - ADDED TO AS ORIGINAL POST WAS 'SENT' BEFORE FINISHED. Looking at it another way why should part time fans have priority over s/t holders? I don't get the can't afford it argument as surely if you can afford the £50ish it costs for one away game with travel etc you can afford the £260 for a s/t on instalments plus all that money goes to Rovers and not the away team/train co's/petrol co's. I don;t see why you need to tell me about MY life? FACT - two young kids, a football hating wife, and no money. = no ST. But I will go to as many games as I can afford (time and money). Considering I co-wrote & edited a book about Rovers away games, surely it's hardly surprising I like to go to the odd away game each season. I find them a little adventure in my mundane life, and the atmosphere is often excellent. I also would like to do the 92 eventually (Stevenage last night was number 70, but that has taken 27 years so far). I hope I can get tickets next season for a few matches. Not an entirely unfair hope for a long standing fan?

Too be fair, it's a question that should be asked of both clubs! Given the population of Bristol can we fill both stadiums week in week out? From our perspective: Why haven't we sold out for Yeovil or Exeter given our league position? crazy cat A price hasn't helped. at the end of a long season where huge numbers travelled away, and extra expense of 2/3 play-off matches might be looming.
