I think Hartlepool could be a major factor as to who goes up automatically this year . They are 5th in the form table ,and they have to play Accrington / Plymouth / Portsmouth

I actually thought that they were unlucky that day and were better than the score line suggested

Yes, Hartlepool will have a big say in where we end up this season. I am very glad they are in pretty good form and fingers crossed their performance level doesn't drop with the call of the beach and the 3 Ss.

Hartlepool boss has said that he will try other squad members now that his team are safe. Lets hope it doesnt weaken them too much.

Hartlepool boss has said that he will try other squad members now that his team are safe. Lets hope it doesnt weaken them too much. hmmmm. I never use the word 'luck' but this time of season is a bit of a lottery. so many games can go so many ways. You might even play the same team as your rival, back to back, and one of you plays a motivated first XI scrapping against relegation and next game the other could be playing the kids in their flipflops. and it's not just as simple as 'changes weaken a team' as sometimes the ones coming in are trying to take their last chance at getting a new contract / spotted by a scout. a funny old time of the season. it is interesting though that Pools have their last 4 games against promo chasing teams. BTW - Pompey vs Cobblers on last day (already sold out) could well be interesting! Can you imagine if we (or any other team) needed Cobblers to do a job and they just didn't? wow, that could last longer than the wycombe lightning.

Luton also beat Daggers 1-0.
If Stevenage beat Newport and Daggers/York lose, they're both effectively relegated. Wouldn't be a bad position given we play all three in the coming weeks.
