The Guardian Series understands Leyton Orient player-manager Kevin Nolan has taken charge of his last game and will leave the club on Wednesday.
Nolan was appointed manager in January but his brief tenure will come to an end this week with owner Francesco Becchetti calling a meeting for Wednesday to ask him to step down.
It is our understanding head of recruitment Rob Gagliardi and operations manager Vito Miceli will take charge of the side at home to Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday with Becchetti picking the team.
It is believed the former West Ham United captain will be offered the chance to remain as a player at the club but his exit is inevitable.
Nolan was handed a two-and-a-half year contract in January but will be relieved of his duties after only 15 games in charge.
