We're at the stage of the season where the form of a team across the season tends to go out the window, so I've took the remaining fixtures and found out the average league place to face based on the last 8 games.
First up, here's where all the teams chasing the automatic spots are places in the form table.
Oxford 5th
Accrington 4th
Bristol Rovers 1st
Plymouth 18th
Portsmouth 3rd
Bristol Rovers 1st
Yeovil 8th
Exeter 2nd
Stevenage 22nd
York 23rd
Dag & Red 20th
The average league position of the clubs we face is 15th.
Oxford 5th
Luton 10th
Newport 24th
Hartlepool 7th
Carlisle 13th
Wycombe 14th
The average league position of the clubs Oxford face is 14th(13.6)
Accrington 4th
Morecambe 19th
Hartlepool 7th
York 23rd
Wycombe 14th
Stevenage 22nd
The average league position of the clubs Accrington face is 17th.
Portsmouth 3rd
Plymouth 18th
York 23rd
Wycombe 14th
Wimbledon 12th
Hartlepool 7th
Northampton 6th
The average league position of the clubs Portsmouth face is 13th
Plymouth 18th
Portsmouth 3rd
Leyton Orient 9th
Dag & Red 20th
Cambridge 16th
Hartlepool 7th
The average league position of the clubs Plymouth face is 11th
The hardest run in falls to Plymouth, who are also in the worst form of the clubs chasing automatic promotion.
The easiest run in goes to Accrington, who find themselves just inside the automatic places.
Rovers are in the best form, but we are the only side to face the second best in-form side, Exeter.
Plymouth have the next hardest game as they are in the worst form, but face the third placed form team Portsmouth.
Hartlepool face all four sides we're competing against, so here's hoping they keep winning!
Wycombe face Oxford, Accrington and Portsmouth, so lets hope we can watch them in the playoffs at the end of the season...
/thread over this is effort x x
Edit: I think if we win them all we'll go up, but feel we'll drop points at Exeter. So I'm praying Hartlepool do DC a favor and maybe Wycombe can help out too.
