Just thinking out loud. If fans chipped in for a ticket for shirt sponsorship and won. What would you have emblazoned across the shirt? (Forget necessarily being a company name) Keep it clean please. Sarcasm or cheek quite welcome

I would have NOTHING written on the shirt. Wouldn't it be lovely to go back to the old days where you just had a football shirt in the club colours and it didn't become a walking sandwich board.
Not only that but the replica shirts would be transferrable from year to year rather than the odd mixture of ex sponsors names that we now see tattooed over Gashead's chests at every game. The fans wouldn't have to buy a new shirt every year unless the club decided on a new design.

Shirt sales, provide valuable income to the club.
Trouble in the modern game, would be that if you had no sponsor it would appear that you have be unable to attract sponsorship, not good PR.
However in reality i would love a blank shirt

Personally, I have always found that a really cynical way of trying to extract money from the fans (not a criticism of the Gas, but a general comment that applies across the whole of the football world).
On a specific note about our previous sponsors, I seem to remember one year when we were sponsored by a Waste Management Company - We did play rubbish that year, so it was kind of apt - but it didn't help that the S**theads rubbed it in though.

Sarcasm or cheek quite welcome We did just this very thing last year with the FFSC and overwhelming we voted for blank shirts. We didn't win though.

Savilla don't have one either and their shirt looks miles better.

I'm sure I read somewhere that FGR were going to change their shirt once every two years. If the club could afford to do it I think that is a great idea helping fans afford football!

I agree to be honest however unfortunately with other clubs doing the very same, we aren't really in a position to throw away that potential income Hopefully now Bradshaw is out we can make strides in an errea (puntastic) that we have failed in for so long. And I am a little terrified of Vanarama winning the draw for that very reason. Please god, no.
