Fans can enjoy the excitement of Sunday’s Football League Awards, thanks to a live YouTube video stream of the event. For the first time this year the awards will be held in Manchester, with the winners announced at a gala ceremony this Sunday 17th April – the same date on which The Football League was officially formed in Manchester back in 1888. The live stream will be hosted on the Football League’s official YouTube channel, commencing at approximately 8.35pm on Sunday and running throughout the ceremony. In another first for the awards, the best 11 players and manager from across the 72 clubs will be recognised, with the ‘Football Manager Team of the Season’ to be announced on the night. Prizes will also be awarded to the top players in each of the three divisions as well as in a host of categories honouring fans, community trusts and the unsung heroes at the heart of the Football League. All the news from the Awards will be covered by The Football League’s official Twitter account, @football_league, whilst watching the stream fans around the world can join in the conversation on social media with the hashtag #FLAwards.
